Elo boosting ia becoming an issue

So im gold 3. It's not that high but it's also not low. It's high enough to see how skilled people are and you can clearly see bronze mechanics. Lately I have seen more and more players who suck. Like bronze 5 teir suck. One of these players actually told us they bought the account and got demoted a bunch of times to end up in gold where I was. More people are doing it and it's becoming a problem.
