+12LP for a win, -25LP for a loss (Bronze 4)

I am feeling very demotivated from playing this game because if I win 2 games and then lose one game then it equates to a net loss of 1LP. Im not going to stop playing ranked (since I am getting mostly wins recently...somewhat recently), but I want to know how this is happening

the amount of lp you win or lose depends on the enemy team

if the enemy team is bad, you get less LP for winning, and lose more when losing

Your MMR is below average, if you go to op.gg (https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=Johnnyclashgamin here's yours) it shows your your MMR. If it's below the game thinks you deserve a lower division, so B5, you will lose more than you gain. The only way to reset it is to either drop a division or get a good win streak. It sucks really but if you really deserve higher getting out of B5 again should be a breeze

Lunar Strike isn't telling everyhing.

Create a new account or just keep playing and don't worry about climbing. Your MMR must be very low from previous losses. Right now you are B4 but Riot MMR system says you should be B5. So it is trying to force you into B5 by making you lose a lot of LPGA and not gaining any. A new account will have a clean MMR. Or if you keep winning in rank a lot, your MMR will very very slowly go up to bronze 4 level.

If you win enough to promote to B3. You will lose even more LP for a loss. Because the syste, is still tying to correct your placement.

You may notice small changes in LP between games. Like gaining 14 then 15 then 16 as your MMR corrects to your wins and rank.
