I'm gona get straight to the point. Trundle needs a change. Like asap. This guy has been shifting in and out of existence in league of legends for a long time.
He would mostly appear when the tank meta is up because that's when he is mostly viable and decently good at.
For a champions that steals your stats and uses it against you is such an amazing idea but only being viable when the tanks are in the enemy team? What a waste of an idea and champion.
Especially now that mordekaiser ultimate can give him 10% of almost all stats from whoever he takes in his realm (5 to 7 seconds. If he kills, he keeps it until enemy respawns), this just outscales in many ways trundle ultimate. People can just run away from you once you ult since alot of people in the game have a mobility ability and only last 4 seconds.
Trundle Q isnt really that noticable in mid to late game at all cuz the number is to low and fixed.
So his Q doesn't steal much stat mid late game and isnt really that noticable and his ultimate is just outscaled by mordekaiser ultimate.
This is why I think trundle needs a change in numbers and or scaling or even a mini rework
What i think will help trundle alot to be the stat stealing king juggernaut is the following:

on his Q, make it so that when he q's someone, he will steal a % of their ad instead of a fixed number, while enemy loses half. Make it also a stackable ability (3 times or idk something). Make the first bite a small % steal, and if he continues on biting the same champion, the % increases. This will be really useful especially if he lands in the backline where the adc lies. If the enemy team doesn't deal with him or keep him away from the adc it could mean trouble and of the ally team doesn't help you to get to the backline then it could be a tough battle. Just an idea. Many team play and strategies you can accomplish with this. This will definitely make you feel like you're actually stealing stats and doing something other than just standing there and being a semi tank. Overall just make his Q a scaling % number based on his target's ad.

his ult. Instead of making half of the effect happening instantly and the other half happen over 4 seconds, make it like 20% of the effect and the rest 80% over a longer duration than the current one. Not only stealing resistance but also stealing health, attack speed and maybe movement speed, maybe crit chance, make it so that he steals a bit of resistance and offensive stats. So for example in a team fight, if trundle ults an offensive character, trundle will do a bit more damage than usual and if trundle ults a tank he will steal a good portion of their defensive stats but also making him doing not as much damage as if he would ult an adc. In his ult you can introduce something like adaptive stealing, which will steal more stats of what ever the target builds more of, if is somewhere inbetween, then make it steal a little bit of all. Overall make his ult last a bit longer and stealing more different stats instead of just resistances.
If balancing becomes an issue, change the % of stealing he does and/or lower his base stats. So when in game, his role in the team will depend on who ever he focuses. If focusing an adc or assassin, trundle will be doing a bit more damage than usual, if focusing a tank he will be bit more tanky than usual. This creates more strategic plays rather than being lucky enough that there is a tank in the enemy team and ultinh him most of the times.
TLDR: make Q a scaling percentage number and ult last a bit longer and steal more stats other than just resistance. His role in the team will depend on who he focuses with his ability the most other than just being a semi anti tank buster.
