Snowball champs for low ELO?

I'm in a low ELO, and I think I'd like to move up. The problem so far is I just play what I enjoy playing (as it fits the role of course), and not all champs are created equal given their relative effect in solo queue eg a fed and well-played Xerath is going to likely have less of an effect than a fed and well-played Annie. And those that require great teamwork (Bard) generally have less of an effect than those that don't... as you simply can't rely on your teammates quite as much.

So I'm looking for a few champs per role that I can pick up and learn to best improve my chances of clawing my way up.

Some that come to mind:

Riven Ekko Annie Yasuo

This can be such a debatable topic but ill put my 2 cents in, even though im not exactly a pro lol. Top:Akali Fiora Tryndamere Mid:Akali Katarina Talon Jungle:Rengar Hecarim Shyvana ADC:Jinx Caitlyn Ezreal Support:Annie Brand Morgana

Take it for wucha want. I feel all these champions can dominate in their respected role and carry. (their are more, these are just some of the champs that stand out to ME)

Most of the teams I play with in silver quit if Fiora is a little fed. Doesn't matter how well we're doing objective wise, doesn't matter if we can win, if Fiora is a little fed they want to quit. Should pick her up for sure.
