Give me a bit because it's going to take me awhile to load all the Images but check out this Eve Interaction with Elise/Arcane Comet.
Hopefully these 3 images work. 
a Good 5 seconds of Non combat went on, and then suddenly my Arcane Comet Procs a second time and kills her.
what was really messed up is, I got 14 gold for killing her.
if you look at the mini map, I've walked away quite a distance in the time it took for that comet to decide it wanted to rain down from above.
