People like dominion, why not make us happy and bring it back, i like to see all the so called real players cry how tough it is.

As much as I'd like having Dominion available again, bringing it back wouldn't really solve much. Non-SR maps are still ignored by Riot, and ranked Dom seems even less likely than before. Plus, the nigh-insultingly lackluster send-off further irritated Dominion veterans who'd already suffered through years of Riot's neglect.
Basically, League veterans wouldn't care because of years of misconceptions about the mode; League newcomers wouldn't care because of the (almost certain) lack of advertisement; Dominion veterans wouldn't care because Riot already drove most of them away from League.
