Win Loss Ratio

So I look at my w/L ratio and it makes me sad it seems I only win 1/3 of games, but how important is that ratio because a lot of losses are from someone going afk half way in, someone on the other team getting fed while I am actually winning my lane etc, of course sometimes its my fault but there are plenty of games I did fine but my team did bad, and that makes me not want to even touch ranked because it seems getting any progress would be a nightmare of a grind
