How do I get better game sense?

Basically my mmr is ~100 more than it should be (around 1750) and everyone else I get matched with in rank is probably at least a little better than me. The thing I noticed is that it doesn't take a lot to get carried easily (esp. if you queue mid/support and always get support, heh), so I get to stay at this mmr (somehow have a 54% w/l) if I don't singlehandedly lose games. The only questions I need to ask myself are "can I go in?" and act accordingly; my teammates are the shotcallers, which means I am terrible at understanding the flow of the game. There are a few specific things I think I'm specifically pretty crappy at, and I want to know how I can practice or get better:

Reading Teamcomps: When I'm in champ select my analysis of team strengths/weaknesses/whether or not it's complete ass is basically limited to "wtf no tank" or "wombo combo" or "good late game". When my teammates talk about our team it's some next level shit and they have a generally have a clear understanding of what kind of win conditions come with our team and know exactly how to play around it. Once I had an Ezreal go "malphite don't bother ulting as many people as possible just ult whenever you see their adc because of our lockdown" and we nearly won from picking off their adc every fight even when our team had a Fizz that went 2/17 lol

What to do after lane phase: Whenever my team is ahead, my first instinct is to group mid/drag and push the fk out of them or get jungle objectives, but I noticed that people actually don't choose to group immediately after lane phase ends and I'm probably overlooking why with my overly-simplified thought process and I want to know why this happens

Any other advice unrelated to what I specifically want is always welcome too

Play a lot. Watch high elo players playing.

Why group up and push one objective when you could split and ensure that you get a max amount of map coverage and control? In low elos you'll see that as soon as the first tower goes down, the game because ARAM. Everyone is mid, and nothing happens. Don't let that happen.

Objectives: Turrets > Dragon > Rift Herald > pushing waves > Baron

If you want to improve your game sense, play Jungle and watch plenty of pro play. It also pays to memorize ability cooldowns (it's actually pretty easy) so you know how to capitalize. Build reactively and plan out who is probably going to win what lane and how you can push the advantage or cover for a weak matchup. Ward off clear gank paths, both for you or a gankable opponent. Keep track of summoner spell CDs by typing them in chat.

One good way to improve is to watch mediocre games, and pay attention to mistakes. You want to focus on mistakes because that's the kinds of things you want to look out for in games, and avoid doing on your side. Sometimes, mistakes by your own teammates can be advantageous, and it all depends on how they are turned around.

assume that all team comps are viable and have a win condition. now do understand i don't know how those dudes and gals in diamond+ do their theorycrafting but from what interactions i had way back when the working assumption has to be that all team comps are viable and have a win condition. all picks are viable and have a win condition. each player has a mechanical objective to achieve, a map objective to achieve, and a gold objective to achieve, maybe a few more objectives but basically those folks map out their objectives of the game very quickly and have high order execution ability so when they want to make something happen it happens. all of them so wildly mechanically gifted and they don't even know it lol, a diamond+ orianna moves very differently to any other type of orianna even without "mastery" of the champion, fascinating creatures they are to observe.
