Nerf the Vital hit detection radius by a decent amount, Make it so she has to be a lot more precise with it, this greatly increases counter play and raises her skill requirement

Right now you just Lunge in the general vicinity of your opponent and get a vital proc, that's too easy, lowering this hit detection makes you need to actually direct your lunge a lot more precisely

Increasing the manacost unless you hit a target makes it more punishing to use it to avoid duels, makes sense for the ''grand duelist'' As compensation the overall cooldown goes down, though spamming it might now actually cause you to go oom.

Making only vital hits proc the cooldown refund makes hitting them more important if you want to stick and because the auto hit detection is a lot smaller you are going to need to pay attention and more accurately use the Q

W: Riposte: No longer blocks summoner spells & unstoppable abilities It's only fair, when yasuo windwall, possibly the most hated ability in the game due to lack of counterplay, actually has more counterplay, well then you know it aint right. It should at least stop cock blocking summoner spells and unstoppable abilities so we have something we can use against it even if it is very little.

A small heal sure, a bit of movement fine, But she isn't fucking soraka x janna and she doesn't need to be sivir think of it as a ''morale boost'' to nearby allies for hitting vital marks

So that is also the compensation, it's immediately useful as opposed to the target needing to die or hitting all vitals in return it's overall power goes down no more 2k heals, not even janna and soraka combined pull that off unless you build them both full AP

Overall change/TLDR These changes don't make her game play much different at all she will be the same old duelist, just added counter play options for the enemy, predicting and dodging lunge attempts at vitals, this also raises her skill requirement because right now the skill floor is miles below sea level it's just sad. Reward for hitting an enemy with Q more reward for hitting a vital, it's now more important to keep hitting them if you want to succeed Her Riposte is a little less bullshit and has additional, albeit limited, counter play options And her ult is less bullshit and makes more sense this way imho

Biggest ''nerf'' probably the Q however if you play well and hit your marks you won't notice much difference outside of the ult being less of a guaranteed team fight win as long as you kill someone.
