Crit Chance: A Possible Fix To The Issue

A lot of champions have the ability to buy items and scale to work with their build. In fact almost all of them do. Except for those who build critical chance, which are basically 12 of the 22 marksmen (sorry not sorry TryndamereYasuo MasterYi ). In the typical game, by the 6 minuet mark, the Assassins have a Hextech Revolver item 3145 or a Serrated Dirk item 3134 , the tanks have something like a warden's mailitem 3082 and tier 1 bootsitem 1001 , the mages would have something like a Haunting Guiseitem 3136 , while the supports would traditionally have very limited visionitem 3340 and resources like their starting item on level 2 item 3305 item 3308 item 3311 and maybe boots item 1001, the regular Marksmen would have Tear Of The Goddessitem 3070 or Vampiric Scepteritem 1053. A traditional Critical Chance marksmen wouldn't be able to buy anything at that time other than... Tier 2 boots item 3006 which would ultimately force you to wait longer to buy a damaging item. Items like Infinity Edgeitem 3031 that used to be core on a champion now strips them from having enough damage to last hit minions to never being able to trade a lane to win. Why? Because while you buy a B.F Sword item 1038 and Zeal item 3086, EVERYONE ELSE would already be buying something like Tier 2 boots, and a finished item that is more powerful than both of your items put together.

The key component is to always SCALE within game and though, that is where the problem lies. Marksmen who rely on Critical Chance as their main source of damage have no NECESSARY source for scaling to win or even sustain lane. When you choose 1 of the 12 Critical Marksmen, you're basically handing them your entire lane on a golden platter. Now, when I said, "no NECESSARY source to sustain in lane", I meant, 2 bf swords already equal 80 damage and you're just paying an additional 1K in gold just for passive stats or if you were getting Zeal, you're behind 200 gold for tier 1 boots but can at least match 50% of your opponent's (non-Critical reliant marksmen) lane pushing power. By the time you have 2 B.F. Swords, a Zeal and a pair of tier 1 boots, everyone has a finished item that does more damage than you in each and every way possible. Either way, you're screwed because your champion's ability to scale their speed per level are not enough if you were to interchange their item kit. This also applies with damage as well. You're screwed because League has yet to release items to help fix exact scenario.

So lets fix the problem instead of stating the facts that sound like a bunch of complaints. I believe just as every item is built into another, both the B.F. Sword item 1038 and the Needlessly Large Roditem 1058 deserves to be built into as well. Anything that is over 1k in gold should have the opportunity to be built into in case you somehow come off short to buy the item in full (and no I'm not talking about entering debt). I believe buying a Long Sword item 1036 into an Executioner's Calling item 3123 or Pickaxe item 1037 into the B.F. Sword would makes it seem like the Gap is now more like a mindset. We could do the same thing with the Needlessly Large Rod item 1058. We would just need to do an Amplifying Tomb item 1052 into a Blasting Wand item 1026 into a Needlessly Large Rod item 1058. A lot of these highly priced Items already have a structure to be built into . I saw an issue with 2 items and this is my main reason for posting this onto the board. It seems the main reason for someone to fall behind really hard is when they have a 1k gold gap to buy the next item. That is it's problem and that is what needs to be fixed. What do you think?
