The Problem with fantasy league right now...

Is that if I, for example, not have Seraph or BunnyFu Fu on my roster for the whole week, and that THEY END UP ONLY PLAYING ONE GAME, which i can't know in advance, this leaves me in the position where my opponent has one game more than me to gain points and there is NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. At least give, say, people who have Bunny on their roster the points that Hai gets this weekend.. because seriously the fantasy game is so inflexible that u end up with a disadvantage because of something I can't know!!

Pls change this :)

I already asked for plans right there, sadly Rioters in Forums are as rare as buying a QSS against Lissandra. :P Perhaps they are busy with the queue thing, or the threads mentioning the problems are not noticed between all the draft threads.

3 of my picks for my team played a whopping 0 matches this week because their subs played instead. Needless to say, I lost my match up pretty horribly

It is true. Do what Alphadraft or other fantasy sites do. Create the "C9 support" spot for example, and we get the C9 support points.

I personally am fine with it because it's a part of fantasy sports. You gamble on certain players that you think are going to play and that will do good. It's the same with fantasy football. For some teams you can't be sure whose going to get the majority of the carries at running back or the majority of catches at wide receiver so you do your research and start who you believe will do the best and play the most. Luckily in fantasy LCS you don't have to worry about your ADC tearing his ACL in the middle of the game. :-)

it's completely fair, there are times a team forfeits a game for whatever reason and people aren't getting their points there. Various factors influence fantasy leagues and that's what makes it interesting

Yeah imo injuries are one of the better parts of fantasy sports, that will almost never happen in lol

That's a risk with literally any player in any fantasy league ever. Take your punches this week and either trade them for next weeks games or keep them and hope they play 2 games. You draft players not positions, so being compensated with a substitute's points is ridiculous.

I feel like the easy fix for next fantasy split would be to draft a team/position instead of a player. Like I draft "Cloud9's Support". Then regardless of whether its Bunny or Hai or whoever, I get 2 games worth of points. Or something similar to that.

The same thing happened to me but with Freeze who is the official starter for RNG unlike Bunny and Hai who share the support role on C9. I had no way to know of this and I didn't receive points from Lod. This made me lose my week by only two points while down a full player.

Yeah, this new tendency to bring in teams of 10 players and then decide last minute who plays on each day pretty much ruins the fun of fantasy. I'd rather get smashed and have a player get -0.76 points of something than have them not play at all for a day (or two days last minute). :(item 3070

Or with froggen who hasn't even played at all Q.Q

AbyssionKnight1/25/2016, 2:26:17 AM1 votes

Well, you get a flex pick. You could have always just selected hai or bunny as your main support and flex picks.
