Choosing team positions instead of specific players
This has been brought up in a few other threads, but I think a dedicated one is needed.
With this new Fantasy LCS split going and the upcoming BO2/BO3 summer split in the horizon, I cannot comprehend that Fantasy LCS still has a player-specific setup that does not take substitutions into account. Every major fantasy esports website does it, so there really is no good reason to keep it that way.

"Substitutions are less frequent in LCS than in other regions" While that may be true, it's not only been proven wrong with a bunch of NA LCS teams just this week, but it will surely be even more prevalent in the upcoming split.

"It's fine as long as substitutions are announced in advance" True. So far, they had been. But this week had not only surprise lineups from C9 and NRG (as well as TiP if anyone drafted them) that were announced far too late (on the day of EU LCS starting, ie. after teams had already been drafted) but TL and C9 decided to make switches in-between days where rosters are locked and with no possible foresight or ability to adapt, people who drafted these players got a huge handicap.

"This allows for more tactical play" Just in case someone would try to argue that... There are 40 (fourty) players in the Fantasy LCS draft that are substitutes. Out of these 40 players, I'm ready to bet some heavy money that most of them are never even drafted. Why have them there? It's a complete waste of space because as we said before substitutions are so few and far between.
The Fantasy LCS system as is right now is not appropriate to the way the LCS is played out. The rare subs that happen punish players heavily with little to no option to change their draft. Impact not starting in day 1 ended up costing me this first week of Fantasy LCS. Riot should already know about this, but if you're trying to make a competition, at least make it fair for everyone, otherwise what is even the point. Subs should be counted when a position on a team is drafted, not randomly omitted because the team had a different player at the position. There is little to no strategy in predicting whether or not a team will use their substitute, and in the case of them swapping players on the second day, there is simply no way to avoid getting points cut.
TL;DR: Player-specific drafting is pointless and substitutions make the competition unfair.
