Hello, it's me.

Week 3 results

Last week went pretty much exactly I thought it would, after looking at the past results it's getting pretty clear what matchups you should target or avoid (in descending order) :

  • Target: GIA, REN, EF, DIG, ROC, SPY, ELE, TIP
  • Avoid: IMM, H2K, OG, TSM, NRG

With that out of the way, week 4 isn't the greatest week for finding value streams. This is one of those weeks where the best teams have the best matchups. For example, H2K has SPY/ELE, FNC has ROC/GIA and TSM has REN/EF. If you have anyone on those teams, I highly recommend starting them this week.

Keep in mind that almost everyone in this list I would recommend only being middle to low-end options, with a few exceptions. Exceptions like...

  • Selfie (Owned in 9.6% of leagues), Noxiak (43.9%), Vitality (34.10%)

H2K is easily looking like the best team in Europe; they're also a black hole for fantasy points for other teams. Even without their star midlaner, Ryu (Visa issues), H2K has been fine with substitute Selfie, who rattled off 42.92 points. This week they're against a weak Splyce and Elements, and while these great matchups might end in short stomps, the hands are too hot right now to bench any of these players.

FNC had an extremely dissapointing W3, but should be able to bounce back this week. I think that this week could possibly give them the confidence to start taking games more consistently for the ROS. Noxiak should be available in many leagues, and if there's ever a time to buy low on FNC players, this would be it.

VIT has quietly become 4-2 for the split, and this week they're against a regressing Elements team, and another 4-2 team in UoL. The Unicorns however, might be weaker than their record suggests, they have yet to win against another team with a winning record. This week might be a good one for VIT to build on their relatively successful campaign so far. I would start VIT over teams such as CLG and C9 this week.

Advice: Start all H2K and FNC members. Start VIT as top 6 option.

  • G2 (22.4%), Kikis (19.8%), Trick (43.9%), Perkz (43.9%), Emperor (40.80%), Hybrid (17.10%)

  • TL (20.9%), Dardoch (27.4%), Lourlo (25.5%), Matt (6%)

Don't look now but the highest scoring midlaners this split so far aren't Bjergsen and Pobelter, but Fenix (21.6 PPG) and Perkz (19.99 PPG). G2 is onto a blistering 5-1 start of the split while TL is seeing a resurgence to their birthright of 4th place.

While these teams are really hot right now, both of them have a good matchup (SPY and DIG) and a matchup where they're most likely to get railroaded (OG and IMM.) While I can't justify benching studs like Perkz, Fenix, Trick (18.78), Piglet (23.09) and Dardoch (19.84), don't be surprised if their week's performances are incredibly average this time around (12-15 PPG).

Advice: All of G2 and TL are must stashes, start them with lower than normal expectations.

  • Seraph (3.6%), Procxin (2.5%), Rudy (0.3%)

Seraph has been the best thing to happen to Impulse, here's to hoping they find a way to keep him. Even in a 1-1 week, every member of TIP (save Gate), was able to drop 30+ points, led by Seraph (35.36) and Procxin (35.32). This week they're against stiff competition in NRG and CLG, so don't expect any points coming out of them this week. Still, TIP has been playing better than expected, and if they manage to even rattle off ~12 PPG this week, they could turn a team around for the rest of the split.

Looks like Djoko is back with his team MIL, so UoL will be subbing in Rudy while the Diamond hooplah gets sorted out. UoL is a 4-2 team going into W4, and have a good matchup against Roccat. However, they haven't beat a team with a winning record yet this split and their second match is against a stout Vitality squad. But who knows, that game could also end up being a barn burner. Rudy might not be a bad start in the Jungler slot if you're looking to fill that position this week.

Advice: Stash Seraph and Procxin if you have the space, start Rudy as a low-end jungler option.

Thanks for reading, hopefully this helps you win your week.
