I'm in a similar situation. I find it unfair because Riot has not confirmed his absence today. A lot of fantasy owners have him. I hope they give Gate's points to Adrian, because it is on Riot for not informing us.
Not only does this one player's points decide my week, it decides if i take first this split. Rito pls just give us gates points.

It might actually decide if I still have a chance to win the whole thing (2nd place right now and playing against 1st this week) or not ... Srsly Adrian was amazing, 2nd best support so far in terms of points and there was absolutly no information about him stepping down. Gate is not even in the Fantasy LCS yet (when will he be btw?). So yeah, I agree - People who used Adrian should simply get Gates points. Everything else is just ruining the fantasy competition.
Here is the problem. Even if we had been looking out for this ourselves Adrian/TIP announced it themselves when our slots were already locked. Even if we constantly scoured reddit and these players social medias and any websites TIP may run and we found out about it the minute it happened there was 0 way for us to avoid losing points on that game two. You may argue in other sports like football if someone gets injured mid-game your sol right? Well i argue thats poor design then. I am not entirely sure how other sports do it since LOL is my first drafting experience but it seems to me that it could be easily remedied by just having us draft positions instead of players. So we draft "TSM support" instead of just "Lustboy". I feel that this would be a better way to set up the system and it would make so even the most diligent drafter who knows every little change would not be sol if something like this occurs. Thoughts Sir Josh Radnor?
Im in the same spot I lose my week by 13 points instead of winning by about 6-7 points. Now I am locked in second place. Please either fix this now or make sure you improve the system for next split. I would love if you added those points to my score since there was no warning or way to shift my roster but if you wont do that please make this a non issue next split. Something like instead of us picking "Adrian" we get to choose "Team Impulse Support" that would be much better I believe. Anyone here see a downside? Also I think you guys should try to get some sort of drafting option for worlds. That seems like it would be really fun! Hope you see this riot. All of us salty folks on this thread lets upvote here so we get attention

This isn't how fantasy sports works. If a player misses a game last minute for any reason, bad luck. That's just the way it is, it means you have to be on the look out for potential drops or injuries on your own time, it's not up to the game to tell you what is in each player's head.
