Nunu - The Outsider (Part I)
Beastmaster Eldor
"I wish I could get you out of here Willy, but you know how Eldor gets." said the young boy, wondering whether he was wasting his time talking to the beast. "I wonder if you miss your home, supposing you had one... A family to go to maybe? I don't know what you beasts are like, never seen you proper before now."
"That's 'cause they aren't easy to find Norgren ", a voice echoed from the hallway around the corner.
"Beastmaster." whispered Norgren, as he tilted his head towards him, acknowledging his presence.
"A true yeti has the power to defeat an entire troop of Frostguardians. Lucky to have found this one out in the Korr icelands by itself. Were it not at such a young age this beast would have killed Yrin for sure", said Eldor. He smiled. "A yeti will surely be a powerful comrade to the Frostguardian army, once it is properly tamed of course."
Eldor was the mirror image of a true Frostguardian Norgren thought to himself. Pale blue eyes, even paler almost white skin with toned muscles that showed across his neck and body. His arms the size of frozen mallets and legs even bigger. If it were not for his prominent golden Avarosan chestplate, Norgren would have surely ran away at the very sight of him. No. He could not think like this of Eldor. He did not want to get sent to the Fjir again. He was already given two warnings this market week.
"Listen you and listen carefully. Since you enjoy staying so much with this beast-ling why not tame it yourself?" asked Eldor.
Norgren was puzzled at the thought. He had never been given such a task before, usually he would be left to do menial tasks such as 'cleaning the avarosan meeting hall' or 'pulling out the water for the dire wolves'. "Why not Willy?" he cheerfully asked the weak looking yeti.
As if it understood the yeti gave a moan.
"Yes it seems that it has taken a liking to you. Feed it the same diet as the wraiths, celp crops with no meat. AND do not do anything unless instructed, otherwise norgren I warn you." and with that said Eldor left, eyeing the beast inside its cage. Something looked back at him. For less than a second Eldor froze. He saw a burning rage hidden deep within those beastly eyes. "You shall get your chance soon verin..."
There was a guard near the entrance to the hallway. "Orders from the exellency himself, the yeti must be fed dire meat. Make sure he is given as much as possible. Got it?", Eldor told the guard. He tilted his head in reply, "As his exellency commands."
Eldor exited the wildlife institute and continued walking. He went beyond the city walls. Back to the Korr camp to meet Yrin. His brother had called for him.
Few days later
"Eldor tell me what you know of this situation and in the name of The Freilord do not lie to me or I shall cut you down!" spoke Tryndamere with alarm.
"The boy is a traitor. His exellency has been deceived by his youth. A cunning child he is. He should have been slaughtered just as were his parents." replied Eldor.
"I will hear no more of this. Blaming this kid is not the answer I am looking for. You know what I want to hear. I want to know Vurlan, a yeti prince ended up in our wildlife institute. More importantly how did he escape?" roared Tryndamere, his patience now being tested.
