The Shield of Void?

I was thinking about new champion that seems very fun (in my mind) but I wanted some outside opinions on it. I was thinking "champion name" the Shield of Void. A champion that guards the gates from intruders using force fields to absorb damage from him/ herself or another champion, deflect, return, or surround and crush all those who stand in his/ her path (all abilities are in one direction only). Having 2 modes (similar to Nidalee) but one is a humanoid form allowing them to move, a ranged auto-attacks and the shielding abilities are not as strong; the second form is a tank like form that is either mount able and moves slowly increasing its own damage output and armor and MR, or it is stationary and has a small knock back.

Please tell me what you guys think, it seems like an interesting idea to me.
