You wake from your sleep. Feeling fatigued you try to fall back asleep, the swaying waves keep you awake. Conceding to them you get out of bed, and start dressing yourself. You then walk out of your room, running into your co-worker Matthew in the hallway. "Morning" Matthew mumbles to you as he is still half asleep. You greet him then ask Matthew if the nets have caught anything yet. Before he has a chance to answer you start mumbling about the fishing ship going out of business. He puts his hands on your shoulders and says "it'll be fine". He then gives a warm smile. His words comfort you and you snap back into reality. "I think the captain is waiting for us" Matthew says as he starts walking down the hallway to the main cabin where the captain always stays. We open the door and walk in. The captain calls us over, she has a stressed look on her face. We sit down and she then asks us, "How much food did the note I sent you say to order?" I answer "200 pounds, all together." She looks at me and asks,"Do you think 200 pounds of food can feed 30 people for a month?" I say nothing. "800 pounds is the minimum." The captain rests her elbows on the oak desk and buries her palms in her face as she sighs. She says "We need to make a trip back to bilge water for a food restock. We're setting sail in an hour. Now get out." Matthew and I leave the cabin and head to the left and up the stairs for the main deck. Once we're up we find a nearby barrel pile to sit on. An hour passes and the captain comes out. She tells us to set sail. The crew fiddles around with the ships masts and hastily begins setting sail to bilge water. Hours pass, nothing interesting happens. All you see is water. I almost gaze off into sleep when I hear, STOOORM! I get up to see a huge storm start to form out of no where. It quickly engulfs where the ship floats. The water steadily gets wavier as the time progresses. Gusts of winds push cargo around the main deck. You could hear the ground beneath the ocean trembling. The whole crew struggles to keep the ship intact, not to mention themselves. About two hours pass. No sign of the storm letting up. The crew grows more exhausted as the minutes pass. I walk to the side of the ship and look. The waves stopped, the wind broke. Was the storm letting up? Then, silence. You could hear nothing. As if the world had gone mute. I look down at the water. My face goes blank. Then, A massive anchor. About 20 feet long comes up out of the water like a jumping fish. It comes down on top of the ship crushing crew members. It slowly slides back catching the ships mast. Suddenly, the ship creaks. The anchor starts tipping the ship. It starts gettin dragged under water, almost as if something is pulling it under. The ship starts getting pulled apart from the anchor, crew falling off into the frigid water. Finally. The ship capsizes. All I feel is cold, salty water. I struggle to keep my self up. A chain attached to cargo latches itself to my leg as it sinks. I can't break free. I start sinking, deeper and deeper. I'm almost gone now. The light fades away, all i see is the outline of a giant being with glowing eyes in front of me. I fade away to nothing.

You wake from your sleep. Feeling fatigued you try to fall back asleep, the swaying waves keep you awake. Conceding to them you get out of bed, and start dressing yourself. He puts his hands on your shoulders and says "it'll be fine". He then gives you a warm smile. His words comfort you and you snap back into reality. "I think the captain is waiting for us" Matthew says as he starts walking down the rundown hallway to the main cabin where the captain always stays. We open the splintered door and walk in to find the crew drinking ale, gambling away their pay, and getting into fist fights. The captain calls us over, she has a stressed look on her face. We sit down, Matthews chair breaks and he falls on the floor. He stumbles to his feet, embarrassed as he dusts off the dirt. After a good laugh the captain asks us, "How much food did the note I sent you say to order?" I answer hesitently "200 pounds, all together." She looks at me and asks,"Do you think 200 pounds of food can feed 30 crew members for a month?" I say nothing. "800 pounds is the minimum amount of food required." A sound catches my attention. I slowly walk to the side of the ship and look over in the water. The waves stopped, the wind broke. The water was only vibrating. Then, silence. You could hear nothing.
