###Lore
Ionia is home to wise minds and diligent hands, the heart of which beats endlessly in its quest for enlightenment. Those who sought peace could live in harmony, none more so than the quiet village by the falls. Han was no stranger to these principles, and though good-natured as he was, he crept in terror at the wake of the roaring falls. Away from the river, Han and his family lived on the outskirts of town, ultimately to become pitied by their neighbors.
Try as they might, the village could do nothing to soothe his fear of water, and could not bear to have him call the torment his home. Hoping to overcome his fears, Han convinced them to let him stay for two days and two nights at the base of the falls. If he fled, he would leave until he had conquered his fears, and only return when he had.
For those days young Han cowered beneath the might of the falls, willing his body in place until the dawn of the third day, where he vanished into the forest. Alone and weak, he traveled to where he could seek guidance, the Hirana Monastery. The monks took him in, promising a harsh future and excellent soup, to which he accepted.
It was within the monastery where he realized his gift, the ability to control water. Terrified of his own power, Han refused to summon his inner strength, much to the monks’ disappointment. Instead, they sought to enhance his desire to restrain, to instill self-control.
Deprived of food, drink, or sleep, Han learned to appreciate the simple luxuries of life and endurance of the human spirit. After years of learning the ways of the Hirana monastery, Han felt it was time to truly conquer his fear of water, and himself.
With unsurmountable patience, he manipulated entire streams, and conjured entire lakes, but there was always a twinge of terror in his eyes. Unsatisfied with himself, he sought to stamp out his fear through discipline and training, seeking to fight his inner demons in a long and arduous trial.
Though successful in driving out the weaknesses in both body and spirit, a doubt crept at the back of his mind. He was the only one in Ionia to master the rivers and falls themselves, yet the only one to seize in the face of his own might. He could not return to the village until he had mastered his fear, and there was only one place left where he could face it: the Guardian’s Sea.
Aboard an abandoned raft he departed, seeking refuge amongst the crashing waves. It was here that he mastered the very sea itself; he could bend it to his every whim. On the seventh night as he was sleeping, an enormous wave capsized the raft plunging him into the depths of the ocean, into the depths of terror.
Years passed after his departure, Ionia had plunged into war, battling Noxus for every inch of land. Through dastardly tactics they advanced, only to stop at the capital city, Placidium. It was their final stand, thousands pooled together to fight a common enemy. Joining their ranks was a man dressed in traditional visage, yet wielding a weapon unlike those seen before, a spear made of Seastone. With a flourish he shattered their ranks with a deluge of water, allowing for an Ionian counter-offensive.
Victorious, Ionia pressed Noxus back while Han sought to return to his village. After days of travel, what he found was a pool of acid, the falls tainted with toxic waste and the stench of death. He could only stare at the graveyard he left all those years ago, he had proved nothing, he was a coward.
No, they would be proud.
Dropping his weapons, he began to purge his home of Singed’s vile toxins, a process that would take the better half of his life alone. As he worked to move the filth, it was to his surprise when men came to his aid. Working together they managed to cleanse the river to where it was safe to drink once more, and rebuild the shattered remains of the quiet village.
With the last structure finished, a solemn memorial to Ionia’s sacrifice, Han retreated to a cave he carved beneath the falls, where he would contently live the rest of days. However, fate had different plans for him.
On the dawn of the eighth year marking the invasion a messenger stormed into town, relaying news of Ionia’s recent victory over Noxus in the League of Legends. Having just learned of the match itself, Han demanded to know why fighting had resumed. To his relief, it was not on Ionian soil, but rather held in a distant land of warriors.
However, the consequences were grave, if they lost a single battle Ionia would be held at the mercy of their worst nightmares. Is it time to fight once more? Han only knew his trials were far from over. Grim-faced he set off, determined to fight not for glory or for show, but to end the war once and for all.

###Kit
#Passive: Tidal Force
Each of Han's attacks strike with brutal efficiency, allowing him to provide a relentless assault. Each autoattack switches between two effects, beginning with Surge:
Surge: 50% of damage dealt is restored as mana.
Wake: Deals an additional (10% missing mana) magic damage on-hit.
#Q: Cresting Surge/Wake
Passive: Hitting an enemy with Cresting Surge/Wake generates 1 stack of Typhoon for 10 seconds (only 1 stack generated per cast, consuming or gaining stacks refresh duration). Cresting Surge/Wake costs 10/20/30/40/50 more mana with each stack of Typhoon active.
Active: Han fires a crescent wave of water in a line, dealing 80/115/150/185/220 (+.6 AP) magic damage to all enemies hit, decreasing based on distance traveled down to 30%. Additionally, the ability has different effects depending on which part of Tidal Force is active:
Cresting Surge: Moves extremely fast and briefly interrupts all enemies hit.
Cresting Wake: Moves Moderately fast and applies a 40%-15% decaying slow over 2 seconds depending on how far it traveled.
Range: 1300 Cooldown: 7/6/5/4/3 seconds Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Mana
#W: Spate
Han projects a vicious torrent of water in all directions, destroying all projectiles they come into contact with for .5 seconds.
Range: 400 **Cooldown: **12/10/8/6/4 seconds Cost: 1 Typhoon
#E: Maelstrom
Han strikes target enemy, moving forward slightly and dealing 10/30/50/70/90 (+.2 AP)(.4 Bonus AD) magic damage. This move can be recast four more times, but at double the mana cost for 6 seconds. The move's cooldown starts after 6 seconds or after all reactivations.
If a stack of Typhoon is available, then Maelstrom will consume it and knock the enemy back slightly.
Range: 175 **Cooldown: **15/14/13/12/11 seconds Cost: 50 Mana
#Ultimate: Atlas Splinter
Han summons a large body of water over 1.5 seconds, then releases it. Right before it hits the ground he swings with all of his might, slicing the water into two separate waves. Enemies will be knocked to either side 600 units if they are hit and take 150/400/550 (.7 AP) magic damage.
Hitting an enemy with Cresting Surge/Wake reduces the cooldown of Atlas Splitner by 1/1.5/2 seconds.
Range: 1600 (The water hits 200 units in front of Han), waves move 600 units in each direction Cooldown: 180 seconds Cost: 100/200/300 Mana

: You...
How do I know if Surge or Wake is active?
Han will have water (think in the style of homeguard) running beneath his feet, bright, foamy water will signify your next attack will restore mana (Surge)
Dark, rippling water will signify your next attack will do more damage (Wake).
How does Tidal Force interact with Cresting Surge/Wake?
If your next attack will proc Surge, then the move becomes Cresting Surge. If your next will proc Wake, then the move becomes Cresting Wake.
Is Spate just a superior Wind Wall, or vice versa?
A bit tricky to pull apart, but Wind Wall is a structure of sort that protects allies briefly. Spate only removes projectiles in Han's immediate vicinity, and doesn't provide much for saving allies in terms of blocking multiple projectiles.
So, why Atlas Splinter for an ultimate?
I'm glad you asked me! Well, I wanted someone awe-inspiring for an ultimate, and I thought, what's cooler that Moses splitting the Red Sea? The answer: Han splitting a sea he made for the sole purpose of splitting it. So cool...
I will answer any more questions and put them here as they come along.
