Okay, so I know it's been awhile since I wrote one of these. This one has been through multiple drafts and this is my favorite, and some have gotten deleted.

But before you read this, you should read my other ones. Link to #1 http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=46738514#post46738514

And now, indulge yourself with Lucian and Senna as they travel to the Shadow Isles. In the comments below, let me know if you liked it. Also let me know if you want me to write one for your favorite champion. I've been thinking about doing; Bard, Ahri, Rengar, or Azir next. But let me know if you have suggestions.

Lucian The Purifier My Last Adventure

'Be grateful. By slaying you now, I spare you an eternity of torment.' This is my credo. My name is Lucian, I hunt the dead. Zombie hunter, more like bringer of light. The Purifier. This is the story of my last adventure, before Senna was taken.

Me and my wife, Senna, had heard news of the Shadow Isles. We heard how they were infested with the dead. The damned, the wretched, whatever you want to call them. After six days of travelling we made it do Demacia, where we restocked on supplies.

"How much for the water?" I asked a merchant. "Ahh, good choice my boy!" He responded. "You didn't answer my question." "Let me try," Senna whispered the me, "How much for the water?" "For a pretty lady like you, half price!" The merchant said. "Too much." Senna said back. "Well, that's as low as I'm willing to go, but there are other things you could bring me. Like those shiny bricks you have on your waists." The merchant was eyeballing our guns. "Those aren't for sale." I said. "Haha, only kidding!" The merchant had a worried face.

We left the merchant to contemplate his decision. He gave us the water for free. We stopped at a few more stores and bought rope, shoes, fire kits, anything we might need for the long journey ahead. We got to the docks, and asked around for a ship.

"Nobody wants to give us a ride to the Shadow Isles." Senna concluded. "It doesn't surprise me, have you heard of the place?" I said jokingly. "Maybe this guy..." Senna pointed at a figure with a black hat, carrying a box of oranges. "Looks shady..." I said.

We approached the man.

"Excuse me sir, but can we ask a favor?" Senna asked. "Aye, ask away!" "Where are you going?" I asked, "Why do you need so many oranges?" "They're for the scurvy. People always get the scurvy's on me ship! Mainly me of course." He responded. "Can you drop us off near the Shadow Isles, we are meeting a friend there to take us to Ionia?" Senna lied. "I can do that, but you must do something for me!" He replied. "What do you want?" "I need something. Well, someone." "Who?" I demanded. I was getting tired of this guys crap. "I need a soul killed. My father." "You want us to kill your Dad?" "Yes." "Uhh.... Okay... I guess so. But no promises." Senna said. "Fine. Hop on. I'll take ye'" He promised.

We walked aboard the ship. I saw crates upon crates of oranges. What does this guy do with these oranges? Is scurvy really this bad? I thought. The man showed us to the lower deck ad advised us to get some rest. We went in and sat on some crates.

"The tides are not happy today lads," He said, "they threaten to capsize any ship. But for a pretty lady, and handsome man, like yourselves I'll brave it." "We cannot thank you enough." Senna told him. "Thank you for doing this." I said. "Aye, it be my pleasure."

He started to turn away. Senna stood up and said, "We never got your name." "I go by many names, James, Mark, but I be a pirate so it's only fitting if my name is Gangplank. The name my father gave me as I threw him overboard and stole his ship. This ship."

Senna and I glanced at each other and had the same thought, We are on a ship with a crazy pirate!! Help!!!

"That's, informative. Thank you Gangplank, for the ride, and the story." Senna franticly said.

"Oh it was a glorious struggle! I almost died twice! First, he took his gun, aimed it at my head, then the boat rocked and I took the chance. I grabbed him and pushed him to the edge. Then we fought a bit. But then, the sail fell off the mast. Oh, the boat was on fire, by the way. So the sail landed on us. We fought to get out from under it. When we finally did, we were on opposite side of the ship. His gun be lying on the deck, I had mine. As he ran toward his gun, I took aim. I fired at him with two shots. Bang! Bang! One hit his leg, the other his ear. He cried out in agony, I stepped toward him. I drug him to the edge, this is where he gave me my name, and threw him overboard." Throughout the story he acted it out as he went.

Senna and I looked at each other.

"Well, we'd better get some rest. See you tomorrow Gangplank!" Senna said, wishing Gangplank would hurry. "That's a great story, but we'd better hit the hay." I said plainly. "Sorry if I kept ye', I'd best be going to. I have a ship to man!" And with that he left, and all we heard were his faint songs, and the creaking of the boat.

We talked for a bit, about the plan once we landed. Then Senna went to sleep. I stayed awake, just in case Gangplank came back down. After all, he was crazy. I ate a few oranges, I figured he wouldn't mind since he had over a thousand. It had just occurred to me that Gangplank wanted us to kill his father, again. How did he know that, with our guns, Senna and I could kill the dead? There was no way I could sleep now. Not knowing that the crazy pirate giving us a ride knew. I decided to confront him.

I went above deck. The sunrise was amazing, the ocean was calm, Gangplank was taking a nap by the wheel. I walked up to him.

"Gangplank." I said. "Hey, hoo, hey, yah!!" He stood and unsheathed his sword, and pointed it at me. I drew my gun, and waited for something to happen. "Oh it's you. Sorry me boy, you startled me. Don't you know never to wake the captain while he's sleeping?" He seemed slightly aggravated, but not too much. "Sorry, I didn't mean to. But we need to talk." "About how I know what you two do?" He said. I was surprised at his response. "Um, yes. How do you know? Where did you hear it from? And why your father?" I interrogated. "First, I heard news of two people coming to Demacia. I headed there from Noxus to see who they were. When I heard in Demacia it was the 'Demon Hunters', I knew the rumors were true. Two people, husband and wife, had enchanted guns that could kill the already dead." "Rumors spread fast... I guess our work in the Shurima Desert was good." "I guess so." He stood and grabbed the wheel, watching for anything, "But now you're wondering who told me." "Yes." "Well, it was a man, He's dead now. But let's just say we had an argument, and things didn't end well for him." "Your father?" I guess. "Right on the kisser!" He said, "You be the son of the man who was friends with my father. And your wife, I don't know where she's from. But all I know is that you too hunt the dead, looking for the worst ones to destroy."

"That's true, but there's more. After we got our guns, Senna's father died. His last words were 'Purify me.'. So, Senna 'purified' him. When she left his room, her gun was glowing, as if she had shot it. When I found out what happened, I understood. Her father did not want to live as a ghost. He wanted to be dead, really dead. On our travels we have purified many people. We have lost the feeling of sorrow, and compassion. We do not feel sorry for the people we cure. We hear of ghosts being bad, and we jump to the scene." I felt a tinge of regret. I had purified so many souls. But how many of them deserved to be banished? "Damn, sorry lad. I wish I could help ye'." "Its fine," I started to walk away, "Just get us to the Isles safely, and we will deal with your Dad." "Thanks lad." Gangplank looked like he had a sad face, but I couldn't see past his beard.

After three more days of travelling, we could finally see the Isles. We got about 25 miles closer and Gangplank said he could go no further. We packed our things and took a dingy to shore. When we landed we set up camp and prepared for the horde. Good thing we landed at dawn. "Setting up on the shore allows us to only watch 180 degrees of land, other than 360." I said "Okay, I'll go for a quick perimeter check." Senna replied. "Be safe." "Always." Senna was smiling. I couldn't help but be worried for her. I hated when she went out alone. I stayed at camp, waiting for anything. All the sudden, there was screaming. I stood up, drew my gun, and waited. Senna stepped backwards out of the tree line, gun drawn and firing at something. I ran to her aid. "Senna, what's happening?" "Something jumped out at me. I think it's dead, should we go check?" She look frightened. "No, come back to camp. I'll take the next look." I offered. "No, Lucian. Stay with me. I don't want you getting hurt." She countered.

"I'll stay within sight. I just want to take a peek." We walked back to the shoreline. I set up a tent while Senna prepared lunch. Lunch consisted of oranges Gangplank gave us, water, and a few fish we caught on the way to the island on the dingy. After we ate, we talked about the plan for night.

"Set up two layers of torches in a circle around camp, some closer, some farther." I suggested. "Sounds good, we can light them from here with our guns." "Too loud, we need to walk out there and place them manually." The risk of invasion was too great. Senna did not offer anything else. She must have been in shock, whatever scared her, scared her good.

When I was breaking branches for torches I kept hearing whispers and rustling. I was sure I was being watched. There were eyes, glowing in the dark. Man, I wish the sun would hurry and rise, I thought to myself. When I made it back to camp to check on Senna, she was lying inside the tent. "How are you holding up?" I asked. "Better, but hurry and put up the lights." She ordered. I left the tent and put some branches in the sand. I was able to light some cloth on fire with my gun, without making much noise. I used the cloth to light the branched on fire. 'Some closer, some father', my own saying echoed in my head. I wanted to be with Senna, whatever she saw really scattered her. I've never seen her be like that. Not since her father. For a brief moment, I thought that her father was here. My thoughts got distracted when I heard Senna leaving the tent. I looked back, she was looking at me. I smiled and waved. She drew her gun and fired at me. I ducked out of the way. "What the hell, Senna?" I wasn't sure what to think. When I turned to see what she might have hit, there was a dissipating ghost. It was green, and it had armor on. It's weapon appeared to be a spear. "Uhh... Thanks..." I wonder how Senna knew it would be there. She stepped back in the tent and I went back to torch duty.

When I was done, I walked back to the tent and went inside. We sat together, not speaking. Hours past. Senna fell asleep on my shoulder, and I remembered her father. He stood for all the right things, non-corrupt governments, peace among the people, and justice. One day, he was able to prevent an execution. Us three were at Bilgewater for an assignment, and there was a woman about to be executed. I still remember her fiery red hair. She had the noose around her neck, a gun to her head, and the barrel she was standing on was breaking. Senna's father push his way through the crowd and told the executioner to wait. "I'll pay triple of what she's worth if you let her live." He announced, "Where is the man or woman I pay?" "You don't have to do this." the woman said. "I'm still going to try." He whispered. The barrel broke, and he grabbed her feet. "Who the hell do i pay to let this girl live?!" He was furious, something no one wants to see. After about five minutes of silence, man stepped forward. "I be the one who wants this lass dead. She did not give her share of the loot from the last raid, so she be bein' hanged." His accent resembled Gangplank's. "Good," Senna's father said, "How much do I owe you?" "Ha ha ha! You think you can afford twelve pounds of solid gold?" "I can do better, try me." He had this look in his eyes, like he knew something. "Hmm..." The pirate thought for a moment, "Cut her down. You, come with me." The woman thanked Senna's father, and he pointed at us. She walked over and asked us if we wanted a drink. She took us to the bar, where she was able to get us some sort of honey juice thing. It was the best thing we'd ever tasted, and it was alcohol free. Eventually, Senna's father came in and thanked the woman. We walked out of the bar, said goodbye, and left Bilgewater.

When the sun arose, I found myself alone in the tent. Where's Senna?! I was freaking out, I frantically exited the tent. I looked around, there was a path of unlit torches. I drew my gun and walked down the path. It led to a path in the forest, I saw Senna's boot prints. I cautiously followed them. As I walked down the path, hands where grasping at me, but were unable to reach my clothes. I kept walking down the path. I heard Senna talking; "Why don't you die?" I heard Senna fire her gun twice. "Ha ha ha ha ha..." There was a voice with her. I walked faster, worried about Senna. I saw a small clearing up ahead. I started running. When i reached the clearing, Senna was in the middle. To my right, was a spirit. It was green and black, not like the one from last night. It had a hook on a chain, and a lantern on the other end. "Senna!" I yelled.

She looked at me. She started running towards me. The spirits hook flew across the clearing, grabbing Senna's ankle. It pierced right through her leg, and she fell to the ground. "Aaahhh!!" Senna shrieked and tossed her gun my way. I stumbled forward and grab her gun in my left hand. I unloaded a flurry of shots at the spirit, but they did nothing. Senna was slowly being dragged towards the spirit. I ran forward and grabbed her hand, attempting to stop her but now we were both being dragged. "Kill that thing!" Senna yelled. I noticed ghosts had encircled the clearing. I aimed at the spirit. I unleashed with all my hatred another flurry of shots. I watched as the spirit was stepping back into the forest, taking Senna with it. I kept shooting. The spirit stopped walking. I watched as the hook released from Senna's leg, and the spirit threw its lantern at her. The guns in my hand overheated and I had to drop them. Kneeling on the ground, singed hands and angry, I watch as Senna's spirit was ripped from her body and sucked into the lantern. I didn't care anymore. I grabbed my gun and charged the spirit. The flesh on my hand was being melted away, but I fought through it. I was able to get within reach of the spirit, but it threw its hook at me. I sidestepped and fire a shot at its face. The shot made contact, and the spirit wailed. "Now you've just made him angry." I heard a females voice behind me, but I didn't turn around. The spirit flung its hook again, it barely missed. Its eyes must have been damaged. I readied another shot, I wasn't going to miss. "For Senna!" I yelled, and shot at the spirits face. Just as the shot was about to hit it, the spirit vanished into the forest. I thought about chasing it, but it was only going to get me killed. Instead, I walked back to Senna's body and her gun. "He left one for us! Charge!" Undead jumped at me from every angle. I grabbed Senna's gun and spun in circle, firing. Kill after kill I mowed them down. After a few spins, they retreated. The spirit had returned. I looked at it, guns in my hands. It looked at me, swinging its hook back and forth. "You loved her?" It spoke. "Yes, we were married." I responded. "Here's what I'll do... I'll let you hear her scream, and then I'll take your soul too," It offered, "Or you can leave, I'll give you a head start." I thought about it. Senna would want me to continue our duty, as Purifiers, I thought. "I'll just leave. Try and follow me, I dare you." I grabbed Senna's body, turned and walked down the path I'd entered from.

I had made it to the beach before the first ghost spoke to me. "Hey, look." the ghost said. I took aim, "Wait wait! Don't shoot!" It said as it cowered behind its hands. "You have ten seconds. Go." "You want to leave? I can make that happen, a one way trip to Demacia." I was intrigued. I wanted to leave and give Senna a proper burial. "Okay, but for us both." I demanded. "Not a problem, this way." After a short walk on the beach, the forest opened for the ghost. I followed him inside. It appeared to be a home. There was a fireplace, windows to the beach, carpet made of leaves, and chairs made from tree branches and stumps. "Nice place." I said. "Oh, this place this is where I go to--. Never mind, this way." He pulled up the carpet to reveal a cellar. We went inside. There were symbols all over the walls and floor. Some I'd see before. "Step into the circle there, sit down and let me cast the spell." I sat in the circle with Senna's body and I watched as the ghost grabbed a bunch of supplies off the shelves and muttered to himself. When the ghost was ready, it gave me a small twig. "It's to help guide you to Demacia." It told me. "How much longer?" I asked, I was ready to slay this ghost and leave on my own. "Patience traveler, this spell takes time. I need to find... Ah! Here we go!" He grabbed a crown and put it on. The ghost began to chant gibberish. The ring started to glow. I saw stars on the walls, and water below me. Then it changed, now the Demacia Harbor was below me. I saw Gangplanks ship there. Demacian Guards had acquired his stolen goods and where hauling it away. He just say on the steps of his ship, sleeping. When the ghost stopped chanting, I looked up.

"Farewell, traveler. I hope you find what you are looking for." He clapped his hands and I was on the docks.

Gangplank woke up and saw me. "Yarr! It be you! I remember you!" His smile faded when he saw Senna's body in my arms, "A burial at sea... What a glorious place to send your loved ones." I boarded the ship after all the stolen goods were taken off. We set out to sea. Gangplank let me use a spare dingy to place Senna's body on. I put a few oranges on the dingy with her, to brighten her spirits. Gangplank put a small barrel of gunpowder on the dingy, no bigger than my head. "Just to start a flame." He said. We lowered the dingy in the water, and watched it float away. I was happy to have Gangplank here, helping me. I took Senna's gun in my left hand, aimed, and fired at the barrel. There was a small explosion and the boat was set aflame. We watched it for what felt like days. When the boat was no more, we set sail back to Demacia. When we had reached the docks and gotten settled in, there was a man in blue robes there. "No, not this landlubber again!" Gangplank announced and went below decks. "Hello, Lucian." The man said, "I'm sorry for your loss." "How did you know?" I asked.

"We have all lost loved ones," He said, "And all have different ways of coping. I believe yours is with us." He talked about the Institute, which I had heard of before. I agreed to join him and fight in the name of Senna. I am Lucian, I will find the spirit that stole my wife in due time. It will feel my endless wrath for what it did. My tolerance for the undead was at the threshold, they will all die. Again.

For Senna.

Hey dude, I think that a story for Aatrox would have an amazing amount of potential, because he shows up in practically every war ever.
