I always thought it would be cool to have a tournament between the NA LCS and EU LCS teams. I'm not sure when in the season it would be, but I would suggest mid-Spring Split and even mid-Summer Split if it was successful. It would play on the fun rivalry between North America and Europe. The top 5 teams from each region would be invited. This would be based on the regular split finish (not playoffs). Each team would play Bo1s against each other team. The top 6 teams from that would move into Bo3s against each other. Finally, the top 2 would play a Bo5 to crown the Best in the West. This could also be called a Trans-Atlantic Showdown or Inter-LCS Championship lol

Imagine seeing a tournament featuring TSM, Immortals, Cloud9, Liquid, CLG, nV, G2, Splyce, Fnatic, H2K, Unicorns of Love, and Giants. Na would host one split and Europe would host the other. I think it would be pretty sweet!

They had the Battle of the Atlantic way back in 2014. I don't know if they'll do something like that again now that we have MSI. With MSI, All-Stars, Worlds, and all the IEM tournaments, it gets kinda crowded for international events.
