TSM vs CLG

In all seriousness, TSM looks like the better team, and although they showed a few weaknesses here and there, they are the clear favorites. This is the first split where they have looked like the best team in NA throughout the entire split. Even in other splits where they won they playoffs, had strong performances internationally, or had the best individual talent, they rarely looked like the strongest team in NA. This is the best they've looked as a team in a very long time and defeating them in a best of 5 looks nearly impossible for any domestic team.

All that being said, I still gotta root for CLG. They are the team that got me into watching esports in the first place, so I will follow them to the end and root for them no matter what. They don't have many advantages on an individual and a team level, the only thing I can really think of is how well they can punish you for making one mistake in the late game. That's one of their trademarks, and one of the only ways I can see them defeating TSM unless they play one heck of an early game.

Whoever wins, I want a strong international showing. That's what really matters in the long run. Doublelift said just winning NA wasn't good enough for him anymore and I hope this means that he and the rest of TSM really buckle down internationally. They have been performing better in recent times excluding MSI, so I feel more confident in their abilities now, but I still want to see better. Same with the two other teams that qualify ofc, though traditionally at least one will get fucked over in groups.

CLG, why? Well instead of bashing TSM which is full of players much much better than me, I'll just say this....

I'm a CLG fan, and no matter how bad it looks, they know how to play the game, both the macro and the micro. Also if TSM get ahead of CLG, they won't collapse. They have a knack for making that one play to change a series.

On top of that they have AFROMOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best player NA period.

I feel like I give this response a lot in tsm games, but they are the kings of this meta. Every team that tries to play straight up meta against them gets completely stomped. The teams that have had the most success have come from off meta, surprise picks and comfort picks.

I think if tsm denies the ashe, bard and aurelion sol then they have the match easily.

Tsm. I feel like CLG is a highly overrated team. Huhi isn't that great of a midlaner and Stixxay is one of the worst AD Carrys in pro play. The only reason either of them are considered good is because their team spoon feeds them. Darshan is also starting to play really really bad. I also don't think CLG has the focus necessary to be able to bring down a team like TSM.

TSM is more likely, but I think we shouldn't count CLG out yet. They may be looking a lot weaker this split, but they are still the team that has won NA two splits in a row. Either way, it should be a great series.
