You maybe wondering whatever happened to the Free RP Riot funded Tournaments or why certain trustworthy communities didn't receive the funding for there specific tournaments from Riot, so that Riot can't be scammed or tricked out of there RP, Well those are dead as far as I know..... Sadly my community was hard at work trying to reach the 8 team minimum to receive funding or recognition from Riot, by the time we earned it (aka the week after) they had shut down shop, so what did Knight Gaming do about it? They kept moving forward with the dream and generous leader holding 42 tournaments of Funding $10.00 RP for each winner of the 1st place team and sometimes he would go above an beyond and double the amount or raise it to $25.00 RP all out of his own pocket. Not for fame or recognition that ship had long since sailed, but to have a free public fun competitive and friendly tournament scene to hang out and play on the weekends.

The dream was to let anyone play with anyone no matter the rank as long as they were level 30 so they at least stood a chance of wining and having fun plus they needed all their summoner spells. After losing the goal of "Free RP Funding" from Riot the leader looked else where for any sort of funding to help fuel bigger and better tournaments for all ranks of summoners on the fields of justice, sadly to only one prevail in small amounts paid in cents per new and recurring user and given once a month usually 12 bucks (most was like $40-ish) at the end of a month after spending $60+ for every Saturday for that month (the extra $10 is and added bonus for the 2nd place Team MVP, the leader felt sorry for the losing team that fought so hard to get to the finals and wishes he could give them more like when Riot awarded prizing, who was voted for by their teammates). The total estimated cost out of pocket is around $4,000-6,000 USD, just incase anyone was wondering if they could afford to sponsor or fund a tournament every Saturday with their paychecks, recommended that you don't try it at home kids. Which is fine and all, but the Questions you maybe asking yourselves are where is the goal, the final destination as it were, and what is the purpose of wasting money to watch gamer's have fun and compete for it?

I know but do you? because no one wants the tournaments to stop and its obviously brings joy and fun to league players hearts, I saw a group of friends grow closer because they all got to be on the same team some even had 2 or 3 randoms, but if they got to compete with their best buddy nothing else mattered and they had the times of there lives. I'm not asking for help although it would always be welcomed and appreciated. I'm not asking for pity or being told to stop or asked why are you doing such a thing/ that is stupid/ that is dumb. I am not asking for a handout from Riot or help with money/funding. After all this hard work and effort I just want whats best for my community to grow, to expand, to stay true to its roots, to help, to learn, to be the best like no one every was, to lead/guide, to be known, to be shown, to be friendly, to be kind, to be hope, to be loved, to be brave, to be admired, to be honored, to be Knights...

Sincerely, a Fellow Knight Garen

Knight Gaming was founded in the 28th of August 2012 for Guild Wars 2, then a year later a senior member broke off the main tree to form the 1st branch of KnT for a game called League of Legends in August 3, 2013 during those early days of recruitment the LOL Leader managed to recruit the next 3 leaders of his Branch for LoL (all by chance) The TraitorZed , The SlakingGragas , and The InventorHeimerdinger . The Traitor was the 1st in line for the throne and once he acquired it tried to export/smuggling members to another community Sunfire Gamingitem 3068 , which later burned down ;) and the traitor was impeached and exiled. Next was the Slaking after losing members, the throne with the palace being left in shambles there was little he could do, but slowly pick up the pieces and do what he could to repair the damage, but with no desire to play the game any more or even passion for it. He slowly gave up on what looked like a lost cause. Being complacent with what was happening and slacking on his responsibilities as a leader that seemed forced onto him. Eventually he found the Inventor tinkering away at one of his many projects who came and went as he pleased through the communities doors time and time again. It dawned on The Slaking during a Crazy in-house ARAM all in the same voice chat that the Inventor was the key to being free of his burden and helping out the community for the Future, and so a couple propositions where struck and the Slaking started a new Branch for CS:GO, while the Inventor took over the League of Legends pushing the envelope at every turn to expand, to grow, and to acquire new and glorious things and feats.
