- ( - ) Samsung Galaxy Blue [4] - OGN - (5-1) Samsung Galaxy Blue swept SK Telecom T1 K, but then split a series with Incredible Miracle #2 in recent Champions Summer action. There was a pause over an hour long during the series with IM#2, and the team responded poorly to that adversity. Even with a disappointing 1-1 tie, Blue locked themselves into the bracket stage of the tournament. Their one loss would otherwise be a blemish on their top spot of Power Rankings, but every other team in OGN has also lost at least one game. Written by Thomas Watts
- (+2) Samsung Galaxy White [2] - OGN - (5-1)
- (-1) SK Telecom T1 K [1] - OGN - (2-2) SK Telecom T1 K got swept by Samsung Galaxy Blue in OGN Champions Summer. The team played well, but was consistently a step behind Blue on the Rift. They have one more series against Incredible Miracle #1 to finish off their group stage action. T1 K needs a single victory in that two game series to advance to the bracket stage thanks to holding a tiebreaker over Incredible Miracle #2. The fact that SKT are not guaranteed to go through to the bracket stage for the second season in a row speaks to the lengths they’ve fallen since their triple crown of Championships since last Summer. Written by Thomas Watts
- (+3) KT Rolster Arrows - OGN - (5-1) The KT Rolster Arrows made it through Group D and into the bracket stage of OGN Champions Summer, but it took some heroics to secure a sweep over MKZ. The Arrows love to fight, and if there's the potential for kills, they'll go after them even when its disadvantageous. At 5-1, they match the best records in Korea this season and have once again shown they are a team to be taken seriously. Written by Thomas Watts
- ( - ) Najin White Shield - OGN (3-3) While sister NaJin Black Sword has been on the rise, NaJin White Shield has been stumbling all over themselves. The finalists from OGN Champions Spring split all of their matches during Champions Summer, and will need help to get through to the bracket stage. Their mediocre performance has left them hoping that Black Sword sweeps the Jin Air Falcons, or Shield will fall into NLB. Written by Thomas Watts
- (+2) Najin Black Sword - OGN - (3-1) NaJin Black Sword's new roster has come together astonishingly well throughout the group stage of Champions Summer. The team scored a surprising 1-1 split against NaJin White Shield, and head into a match against the Jin Air Green Wings Falcons having already clinched a spot in the bracket stage of the tournament. If they can win a single match, they leave Group B as the No. 1 seed. The situation is a tremendous reversal of fortune for a team that has failed to make it out of the group stage for over a year of competition. The "Kings of NLB" won't be gracing that tournament with your presence yet! Written by Thomas Watts
- (-4) CJ Entus Blaze - OGN - (2-2) CJ Entus Blaze has had a forgettable tournament, but they hit a low point when the KT Rolster Arrows blew them out in two games during Group D action. The team looks completely discombobulated. CJ Blaze does have one final chance to make it into the bracket stage, but they need to sweep the Jin Air Green Wings Stealths in the final game of the group stage. If they can't, they fall into a suddenly fearsome NLB.. Written by Thomas Watts
- (+1) OMG - LPL - (10-2) OMG has once again separated themselves from the rest of the pack in the LPL regular season after being the only team to go undefeated last week. While there's now a three-way tie for second, OMG's map pressure and coordination has set them apart. Cool's Twisted Fate seems capable of using Destiny more than it should be on cooldown, and san's playstyle can only benefit when 4.10 hits LPL this weekend. This week, they face Edward Gaming at the IEM qualifiers and Young Glory in LPL. Both represent an opportunity for a team to climb the ladder as taking a game off OMG is once again a sign of prowess. Written by Kelsey Moser
- (-3) CJ Entus Frost - OGN - (2-2)
- ( - ) Edward Gaming - LPL - (7-3) Edward Gaming looked shakier than usual against Star Horn Royal Club, reverting to their fall behind and stall out style. They dropped a game in the best-of-two and remain tied for second place with World Elite and SHRC. They have a big weekend coming up, as they face OMG at IEM qualifiers and LGD Gaming and World Elite in LPL. If Edward Gaming truly is the best team in China, they have ample opportunity to prove it. They just have to kick their uncertainty to the curb and come out swinging. With a star AD carry like NaMei who is known for innovative item builds, the new patch will be a great platform for the team to find their style. Written by Kelsey Moser
- ( - ) Alliance - EU LCS - (14-4)
- ( - ) SK Telecom T1 S - OGN - (3-1) SK Telecom T1 S earned a 2-0 victory over Bigfile Miracle which has set up a showdown with CJ Entus Frost for a spot in the bracket stage of OGN Champions Summer. If the teams split, there will be a tiebreaker at a later date. If victorious, it would be a huge step forward for T1 S, who has never advanced to the knockout stage of OGN. If they lose however, they’ll have some questions to answer as a promising team would have disappointed for the third season in a row. Written by Thomas Watts
- (+5) Team WE - LPL - (7-3) World Elite has had some issues assimilating their Korean additions. They've finally found a style that works for them, but it's extremely confining. Even so, they sit at second place in LPL, tied with StarHorn Royal Club and Edward Gaming. WeiXiao is a huge part of this, as he is excelling as a mechanical star once again. If WE can clean up their late game shot-calling and find a way to showcase their talents without Ninja playing a supportive mid laner, WE could make a run for first place in LPL. This weekend, they face iG at IEM qualifiers and Edward Gaming in LPL. If all goes well, we could see them at an even higher place on the list next week—or they could fall off altogether. Written by Kelsey Moser
- (NEW) Star Horn Royal Club - LPL - (7-5) Star Horn Royal Club has improved considerably from their near-relegation last split. Despite some issues with over-extending on the parts of both Uzi and inSec, the team has proven they can take control of the game from the get-go. Last weekend, they took out Edward Gaming using an intelligent sneak-backdoor that allowed them to split the series against the teamfight kings. If their creativity continues, expect them to pick up more wins and define themselves as a true contender in Chinese LoL. Written by Kelsey Moser
- ( - ) Counter Logic Gaming - NA LCS - (11-7)
Counter Logic Gaming broke even on Super Week taking down Cloud9 and compLexity but dropped their matching against a surging Curse. In CLG's opening day, Doublelift brought out Twitch and Kog'Maw for back to back victories but was unable to maintain that momentum for the rest of the week. In their chase for No. 1, CLG face off against their rivals TSM for a third time this split next week.
Written by Jack "NeoIllusions" Ho - ( - ) Team Dignitas - NA LCS (11-7) Tied for No. 1 this week, Dignitas struggled once again against compLexity, losing to the No. 7 team for a second time this split. During Week 8, Dignitas squares off against CLG and look to end their dry spell. A win against CLG not only means Dignitas has secured at least one win against every LCS team but it'll put them that much closer to locking in No. 1 for themselves. Written by Jack “NeoIllusions” Ho
- (NEW) Jin Air Green Wings Stealths - OGN - (3-1) Welcome Jin Air to the Power Rankings. Though they’ve been consistently mediocre in past OGN seasons, the Jin Air Green Wings Stealths are on a revenge tour. AD Carry Cpt Jack gets his chance at vengeance when the Stealths close out the groups against Blaze on Saturday. If they manage to win a single game, they go to the bracket stage, and punt CJ Blaze down to NLB. Written by Thomas Watts
- (-1) SK Gaming - EU LCS - (11-7) SK Gaming also looked hit and miss during Super Week. Their loss to Alliance is not a surprise, Supa Hot Crew also took them down, and are closing on their heels, with only a 1 win difference between the two teams. Wins over Gambit Gaming and the Copenhagen Wolves are small consolation. They face a surging ROCCAT and Fnatic next week. Written by Mattias "Gentleman Gustaf" Lehman
- ( - ) LMQ - NA LCS - (11-7)
- (NEW) Fnatic - EU LCS - (11-7) You just can’t ever count Fnatic out. They’ve been a League of Legends dynasty since Season 1, and they just showed why with a dominant performance during the EU LCS Super Week, as they cruised to a 4-0 sweep of the competition, even taking down the No. 1 Alliance. Araneae seems to be pulling his weight as their new coach, and Fnatic once again seems like a top-tier European team after a rocky start. This week, they face their two closest rivals in the standings: SK Gaming and SHC, and a 2-0 week would give them the undisputed No. 2 spot in Europe. Written by Mattias “Gentleman Gustaf” Lehman
Samsung Galaxy White rebounded from their split against SK Telecom T1 S with dominant sweeps over CJ Entus Frost and Bigfile Miracle. If SK Telecom T1 S sweeps CJ Entus Frost on Saturday, White has a tiebreaker to play. Any other result, and White leaves Group C with the No. 1 seed. With SKT T1 K struggling, and White going nearly undefeated, it seems both Samsung teams are on top of the World and favorites to win OGN Champions Summer.

CJ Entus Frost got annihilated by Samsung Galaxy White in their two game series. Each game was over after White took a single team fight. Frost could not stop the snowball, and capitulated in a pair of one-sided games. The team has one more chance to make it out of groups, but it will take a sweep of SK Telecom T1 S to get there. That isn't a given since T1 S has looked stronger than ever in Champions Summer.

Alliance had a lackluster (2-2) Super Week. They’re still atop the standings, and they shouldn’t feel too bad about their loss to the red-hot Fnatic, but dropping a game to the then 3-13 Copenhagen Wolves has to shake their confidence a little bit. Look to see them come out swinging next week against ROCCAT and Millenium to re-establish their dominance.

During their wins against CLG and EG last week, XiaoWeiXiao and Vasilii both took turns carrying LMQ to victory on Syndra and Tristana, respectively. Consistency continues to be an issue for LMQ. Next week is a major test for LMQ as they face off against Dignitas for a third time this split, a team that LMQ has yet to beat.
