Here's a cruel reality: Watching every professional League of Legends match from every professional League of Legends league leaves little time to look at much else. You also may find yourself overusing words that begin with the letter "L." Wouldn't it be nice if someone would just come along and suggest the very best games to watch? Good news! We are just that someone! Each week, we'll put you to the five stand-out games of the week--one from each region--as well as pick our top play. Think there are games we missed? Leave your suggestions in the comments below!

Top Play

Thresh Prince The play of the week comes from the GMB/CW tiebreaker game. GMB's EDward lands a fantastic hook on CW's Woolite and gets a kill for Genja. Gambit only had a slim lead at the time of this play, but it was one of the major sparks for the team to secure seventh place going into the 2015 Spring Promotion Tournament.

This Week, Around the World

NA LCS: Evil Geniuses vs. compLexity EG vs Complexity may not have had a playoffs spot on the line, but it was a more important game than you'd expect. The winner would take home 7th place, while the loser would take 8th, the potential difference between returning to the LCS and going home. With this in mind, both teams brought their A-game to the field and the action never stopped. Complexity held a steady 5k gold lead for most of the game, but EG won one crucial teamfight, pushing through for the win and the eventual 4-0 on the week. EU LCS: ROCCAT vs. Alliance One of the first games of Super Week displayed Alliance's mental toughness, and a rarely seen "clutch" gene that will serve them very well moving forward in the 2014 Regional Playoffs, and the 2014 World Championship - if they make it. Team ROCCAT opened up a 10k+ gold lead thanks to superior objective control, but Alliance was able to consistently beat back ROCCAT's attempts to land a knockout blow thanks to their comp's ridiculous amount of waveclear. As the game went later and later, Alliance continued to power up until they were able to win a single decisive engagement, and close the game before ROCCAT could respawn. Even as the ROCCAT Nexus exploded, ROC retained an 8k lead. Written by Thomas Watts. GPL: Games Postponed LPL: Star Horn Royal Club vs. OMG After a devastating loss at the hands of StarHorn Royal Club, OMG went back to methods that worked for them: san on a hyper carry and a jungler Drug can put his own creative spin on. OMG took control of the game early with proactive movements by both Drug and Cool. Drug's Cataclyms creatively added to the terrain in choke points, either blocking off the enemy's escape or creating a safe route for his team. With a hefty gold lead and a bottom lane siege underway, it seemed like another easy victory for the LPL leaders. It only takes one Shockwave, however, and corn proved to be the one to pull it off. One fight gave SHRC a foot back into the game, and they forced OMG to make a tough Baron call. When SHRC stole it away it only took one more fight to win the set, allowing them to overtake World Elite for third place. Written by Kelsey Moser. OGN: Samsung Galaxy Blue vs. Samsung Galaxy White, Game 1 It's always an exciting time when two of Korea's top teams clash in OGN Champions, and Friday's teamkill semifinal between the two Samsung teams was no exception. Game 1 demonstrated the intense rivalry that exists between sister teams, with back-and-forth teamfights that resulted in 56 total kills. In the end, it was Samsung Blue's Acorn that won the day, with an incredible 10/1/22 performance on Maokai that shut out Samsung White's dual mage combination of Lulu and Xerath.
