All others tried to somehow Make Darius a vital part of the team comp, C9 was the first to actually use him how hes brokenly OP: as an addition that basicly says "You either use all you have to stop Darius solo-raping you, but then our mid and ADC will kill you cause you just blew EVERYTHING to stop Darius, or you attack our ADC and Mid, but then you wont have anything to stop Darius from putting his axe so deep in your ass, you cut your tongue on the blade."

Cause thats whats actually broken on the Juggernauts, the amount of Skills you need to stop them. GG C9, cheap champ, but for being the first ones to get it, you deserved to win.

If it wins games, they'll do it. Cloud9 has never been a team that gave a shit about what people think.

Just pick something like Gnar or Lulu against Darius and it's fine. Just don't disrespect your opponent and pick an awful matchup like Yasuo.

I dont judge them for it either, I mean... cmone, if I was in a tournament with so much money on the line, I would abuse the hell out of Darius too. Hell, who needs money, If he wasnt baned all the time, I would abuse him in solo queue just for some imaginary Internet ranking points...

As the analyst said, C9 used Darius perfectly, Darius' one weakness is actually getting to his target, so what do you do? Make them come to him.

Siege Composition is perfect for Darius and C9's game showed and the final fight showed exactly how Darius should be played and why he's so powerful. Either you sit back and Azir and Tristana is going to mow down all the turrets, or you need to engage then go through the front line that is Darius, either way, good luck with that.

Darius is unholy amounts of fun to play, you should try him out, he is by far one of my favorite champs.

And this is coming from a Nasus main.

As much as I hate some of CT's champs, you have to admit they are ridiculously enjoyable to play. Admittedly in Darius's case he has his fun entirely at the expense of his opponent, but Dar is getting hardcore gutted next patch so you don't have to worry for long.

i just think that had been a showcase of fnatic drafting rather horribly....picking a champ that has issues in the 1v1 early on + a comp that has to get close. The Darius made sense in C9s comp, yea - but a really intelligent team would just have fought them with some heavy poke and there wouldn´t have been much C9 could have done with very limited engage. I think OG and SKT so far showcased best why you should never pick Darius early on if you respect your opponents even a little, his weaknesses are just too easy to abuse.

I generally don't watch LCS, but I've actually watched a few of the worlds as they were pretty entertaining. That though has been the biggest thing I've noticed, was how missused Darius has been. Essentially treating him like Mao, and then wondering why he's doing poorly. My friend was trying to say it's because they know how to play around him, but no it's just they haven't been playing the game with him being a central point of the game.

Azir just does so much damage. So much damage. Without Azir, it's a lot harder to get the entire enemy team low enough for Darius to chain resets.

This is literally what i've been saying for years. A champion is only overpowered if the amount of effort required to keep only that specific champion at bay, actually compromises the amount of effort required to keep the rest of their team at bay.

bleh bleh Darius OP, pro champs succeeded with a champ OMG NERF. These are getting old and need to stop, you arent a pro, you dont know how to counter Darius. FNTIC picked Yasuo into Darius thats why.
