How does one go Pro in League of Legends
I have a dream of becoming a pro in the world of League of Legends. I don't know how to go about doing this so I was wondering if anyone(Riot included) would know how to do this.

I would think it would go something like this:
Tada! You're a professional.
But you want to be in the LCS? Obtain very high Challenger, say top 10. Get noticed by professionals. Have a very deep champion pool in your lane. Exhibit leadership skills. Get recruited by team to replace underperforming member.
Seems simple enough.
Step 1 - smoke a of crack.
There is no step 2.
You should focus on improving first since you're silver. Just trying to help.
I think the job of pro gamer isn't necessarily the best job, but if done right it can provide opportunity through moves like creating your own organization through starting a challenger team w/ players you know (think xpeke or how tsm started and how much money the org makes now), or getting name recognition to become a profitable streamer.
There are 3 major ways to go pro as far as I know:
The first is to become a top challenger player and get recruited (Marin and Faker were both rank 1 in KR for an extended period of time which is how SKT recruited them, Quas reached challenger NA from south america w/ 200 ping and was scouted, Rush was a solo que talent that was scouted)
The second is to get around that rank and get to know the pros/former pros from your games and be recommended (Niels was recommended to Xpeke by Rekkles or steelback, and I think steelback was someone yellowstar duo qued w/ from meeting in a masters game or something and he tried out for the org on yellowstar's recommendation)
The third is to get masters/challenger rank and build an team w/ other players at that level and play through challenger series.
No matter what route you take you need to improve to the level that you can consistently get an account to Diamond 1/masters level at a minimum (I'd suggest do it w/ at least 2 accounts, and try to get one to top 50 challenger)
Just some perspective. There are 2k challenger players, so 0.02% of the community, that is challenger. There is less than 100 pros. Almost every pro hit challenger in 3 months of starting league. Only 2 pros were picked up from plat, before master was chosen, so high diamond is a must just for a small chance.
Be really good or have a team of friends who are really good collectively.
You need to be Challenger at the very least to get noticed by a team, Master may fly but I doubt it. Try to look for teams that are recruiting especially for the new season (if you are really pro level right now).
