Casters Spoiling Game Outcomes

Zirene spoils the outcome of the CLG game in a game completely irrelevant to the match. This defeats the entire purpose of websites like LoLeventvods etc. and makes it so now i'm not even going to watch the CLG vs REN game, as I know the outcome beforehand.

Can we make it commonplace that casters are aware that people do not watch games in specific order of succession that they were broadcast in, because this has happened on numerous occasions and it makes it hard to be a fan of esports.

It is the journey, not the destination. You don't learn anything knowing who won or lost, you learn by watching how people who are actually good at the game play it.

Or, you know, the LoL Esports YT page? The one that they put vods onto an hour or so after the games are done?

You really surprised that CLG beat Relegades?

Watch them in order then. It's entirely your fault if you watch a game out of order and something is spoiled in a previous game. That's like watching a late game of football and being pissed they spoiled the outcome of an earlier game of football...[zombie-brand-mindblown]

Things sometime correlate between games, or have an effect on standings, or any other reason, and bringing up something that happened in an earlier game is absolutely viable. Be happy they've made it so that games are spoiler free and in VOD, because that wasn't always a thing.

But to tell them to not talk about previous games on air when they are live, is quite frankly stupid.

OMG... they are casters, they are supposed to talk about the current game - make comparisons to other games and players (that happened at any other time). This post is ridiculous.

No. This isn't limited to eSports. This is done with sports in general. ESPN and other sports outlets (channels/web sites) commonly have scores and updates feeding/streaming for people to see. People can't live in a sheltered hole until everyone has decided to come out and watch a game.
