He really isn't living up to the hype he was getting so far.

If the hype is that he is going to singlehandedly carry his team to the LCS solely by virtue of being Korean, then yeah I would say that he may be falling a bit short right now. Maknoon still seems to be an exciting player to watch though.

He's playing about as well as he did when he was a Korean pro so he met my expectation (which weren't high).

Koreans are only as good as their team, i think it's been proven several times over the few months. Seraph/Ryu/H0R0/Maknoon all under performed and the ones that did perform well are all on great teams.

i started to think that also but thats after his first series where he played that poppy where he was god-like. Be cause he plays so aggressive he needed a tanky type top. Once he switched to a squishy all those 1v2 dives and facechecking brushes punished him. I think it was more his champin picks than his playstyle. His playstyle just doesnt fit rumble/lissandra meta right now. DOnt know why he kept trying to play those unless his champ pool is just really that small

The thing that people keep forgetting is the fact that fusion gaming is only 2 months old, and on top of that a language barrier. For Fusion Gaming to place 3rd against VERY stacked teams, I find it impressive and I can't wait to see them play in the challenger series (I'm guessing they will win it, and regulate Team 8).
