Riot's Documentaries team is looking for Mandarin and Korean spoken translation help in Paris on the following dates:

Sept 28 Sept 30 - Oct 2 Oct 7-10

And Korean translation help in London on the following dates:

Oct 12-19

These dates are still not 100% locked, and there is a chance that we would need to change some dates around, so please let us know your availability throughout your city's stage.

Job description: Spoken translation from Mandarin or Korean to English for Riot's documentary video production crew, who will be filming players at Worlds. This would include conducting interviews and helping the production team communicate and coordinate with the players and organizations. This would be a paid contractor position. You will be working backstage at Worlds in close proximity to pro teams and players, and so will be held to the highest standard of professionalism and discretion. The hours per day will vary but could go as long as twelve hours depending on the schedule for the day. You would be paid a flat daily rate up to twelve hours, after which you would receive overtime if you needed to keep working. Unfortunately we cannot provide accommodations if you are coming from out of town.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Fluency in speaking English and Korean, Mandarin, or both, and familiarity with of League of Legends terminology in both languages.
  • Candidates would be required to sign a nondisclosure agreement and, if hired, would be required to sign a longer confidentiality agreement.
  • Candidates need to have reliable transportation to work within Paris or London.
  • Experience with spoken translation is very highly preferred.
