Hey guys, My mom's closing down her business and will be trying to sell her store away.

But in the mean time, she asked me if I had any store ideas I wanted to try out with her now empty-space just waiting to be sold.

And the first thing that came to mind was an e-sports bar. I've been hearing about these a lot lately, and seen posts of other people thinking of starting their own too.

My mom's got a butt-ton of business experience with these kinds of things, especially when it comes to Bars, and while she's unfamiliar with League of Legends or E-sports in general, she told me she's willing to give anything a shot for at least a year, If I can handle the branding side, such as, what videos to stream on the TVs, or what kind of food or drinks it should sell...

The bar would be located in Severna Park, Maryland. Here's a little survey I'd love to see filled by anyone interested http://snack.to/qhpsdqe5 Though, I'm unsure if this poll site's limitations, so just incase, here's a strawpoll with the most important question. http://strawpoll.me/731712

TL;DR Please vote in this strawpoll if you're interested in E-sports bars. http://strawpoll.me/731712

An esports bar can work, the only problem you have is advertising. You actually need to go out and look for people that might be interested. Get a facebook page going and post events that will be streamed. A bar doesn't need as much advertising as an esports bar because it has less clients (regular bar customers vs bar customers + gamers).

My biggest worry for you would be the location. You're not really close to B-more OR D.C. It's one of those things that I think is an award-winning idea and makes you wish - *really, really hard - *that it were the right idea for you (and your momma).

Good luck, either way!
