TL;DR: I appreciate the quality of the production of TGA in China and their website. If there was merely a way to get a cover of their stream with English much like OGN does with Monty & DOA you'd have a gem pulling more viewership. I prefer quality to merely having English speakers. LOLeSports has got me as a sports fan now, when I used to spend majority of my time watching NBA, & TdF. I've stopped watching major sports for various reasons and discovered, as a 45 y.o. mom of 2 young boys that I can fill the void with LCS. That happened after taking my boys to S3 Championship at Staples and the quality of that production was mesmerizing. The Riot Team interacting with the kids made me fall in love with the company as a whole. From that I ended up following the entire LCS S4 and, as a statistical nut, won the Fantasy League against my kids & their friends with only 2 losses. What I'm saying is, "I love watching LOL Pro League games and following pro player stats!"
Not wanting to offend, but I've fought to watch VODs/Streams outside of LCS the entire S4. I'm straight up going to tell the folks at Riot that you have a goldmine if you put the effort into producing quality for viewership. Unfortunately, not all Riot approved leagues are equal in viewer production and ease of availability. With the changes beginning for S5 I become utterly excited that there would be much more consistency across pro leagues and more availability for viewership. Yes, I would like to have English speaking VODs/Streams, just like I would if I was watching the Olympics. On the other hand, if the production quality is lacking and the only benefit is that someone's speaking English, it's not worth my time.
To this end, I want to commend TGA. Thankfully, the Chinese market and Tencent has seen the value in opening themselves up to outside viewership and fanbase! I welcome it with open arms. The quality of TGA's production is right on par with OGN. LCS has it's own unique style that really focuses more on the casters than the drama of the play. Fortunately, even with the loss of Deman & Joe Miller, the LCS has the personalities to have it this way. It was the quality of the LCS casters that FIRST attracted me to watching any eSports league at all. I would never suggest that LCS mirror OGN.... BUT, the drama of the hype photos and pro player pics with stats, with the new changes in the rules of coach/analyst on the stage for picks/bans lends a more "sports" professionalism to the league. There's a reason SC2 is so popular to watch in Korea: Production. I value how TGA produces a similar visual and watching the P/B phase and seeing the live player webcam during game is the only way to watch the LPL. Unfortunately, not only are the OCE casters at times making cringe-worthy commentary, they leave out the best parts that would compensate for all of the nonsense they utter. It's impossible for me to sit through their stream/VODs. So, with that said, I will be a patron to TGA for the LPL. Their production quality plus the single game VODs where I can pick what matches I want to watch along with what game I want to watch is extremely beneficial. It would be nice if lolesports could make a contract with TGA to produce an English cover of their show, because, frankly speaking, I'll be watching their feed even if it's in Chinese and I don't understand one word they are saying, it's just simply better quality than OCE.
