Am I the only one who'd like to see more about the logistics that goes into Worlds each year?

Maybe it's just because i don't follow the competitive scene with constant attention, but I feel there's an untapped field of information behind the logistics of a show like Worlds each year.

I mean, we've got 16 teams from across the world speaking easily a dozen native languages, all trying to convene on a single location, and not only house their 5 man team, but their support staff, providing practice space for all 16 teams, and then move this show around 4 different locations in the space of a month, losing teams each week without know who will be around tomorrow to move on.

While I can certainly make assumptions about what sort of logistical processes they go through for this, I'd still love to know more about it. Does each team have to source and fund its own residents and practice spaces? Is there some sort of committee organisation through Riot that lets them organise it en-masse and get allocated practice areas and houses etc as the tournament progresses? I think it would be a cool thing to find out more about, especially if there's a whole team of Riot staff that probably have to spend half their year organising stuff like this for each Worlds.

Watch the documentary "All Work All Play". It goes into the organization behind the 2014-2015 IEM events, specifically the LoL part. It also talks about the teams and a bunch of other random bullshit, but it was fun to watch.

Riot should do an alike thing for Worlds, because that would be cool.
