A solution to poaching

Posted this on Reddit, but someone was unhappy and kept my post at 0 for no one to see so here you are:

it's a simple solution, and one that also adds transparency for riot to be able to see the process of moving one player to the next place to make sure their ruleset is followed to the teeth. it involves hiring a guy that will be dubbed the 'middleman', whose chief responsibility is to be connected with all relevant lcs/cs players and their managers in order to inform both the managers and the players of an offer from another team in a safe environment that does not breed direct-poaching as this would be the only acceptable means to get a player from within the lcs/cs/otherregions(maybe?). it may give more control to riot, but for a game that already is this tightly contoured together by the entity, it should be a given that this should of existed long ago, as it provides the security and information for riot to to use in the situation that they need to investigate and to make sure no one is being screwed over. It's an understatement to say that we do not need this, when time and time again, we are proven wrong when we think League of Legends teams have finally learned proper etiquette to hold themselves too whether its the new kid or the older one. Now, the way I can best describe how this would work is with three examples, but a lot may be able to be inferred from them for you to understand how this would work for other purposes too

Guy1 wants to give an offer to Guy2s organization to get guy 3 - now how does he do this? He approaches the RIOT MIDDLEMAN!

The Riot Middleman contacts the manager (guy 1)with the relevant information of the offer from guy 2, asking for permission to send the offer to guy 3. Guy 2 says ok because he likes the offer, and the middleman sends the information to guy 3. Guy 3 accepts and a group chat is created between guy1-3. They discuss the terms among themselves while the middleman watches. Information is documented.

The Riot middleman contacts the manager guy 1 with the relevant information of the offer, asking for permission to send the offer to guy 3. Guy 2 says it is not ok and does not want to give away guy 3. Guy 1 becomes sad. Middleman informs guy 3 that he had received an offer but is displeased with the offer amount since he wants to stay on this team as it stands. Middleman is informed of this, and redirects what was told by guy2/3 to guy 1. Guy 1 is still sad. Information is logged, but kept more so for reference in the future.

The Riot middleman contacts the manager guy 1 with the relevant information of the offer, asking for permission to send the offer to guy 3. Guy 1 tells him to offer more money/change this, and the middleman informs guy 2 this. In the meantime, middleman informs guy 3 of the offer and whether or not he wants to transfer or not. The three create a group call/chat to discuss the terms of the contract. Then guy 3 is brought and informed of the contract and what it means and the three guys decide on the terms. Middleman watches over this and documents it when it is completed.

Will this change anything? Maybe. It's all about whether or not Riot is going to make the step to truly be able to make sure that players are not being screwed over in their contracts and for the teams/corporations to adapt to riots standards not only for their lcs spot, but for their players well-being.

If you don't like poaching, cook your eggs sunny side up.

Don't need more regulations in this business.
