Will the Immortals remain a League of Legends Esports Organization?

Just as a disclaimer, I have to admit that I am not as knowledgeable about the Esports scene from a business or economic perspective - I'm just a fan looking to the future of a great team (The Immortals). I'd also like to point out that this is a sort of a revelation thread revolving around the long-term aspect of Teams in the League of Legends Championship Series.

As seasons go by, very few teams seem to stick around for very long. Last season's finish was a great example of just how fickle the LoL Esports scene has become; or how fickle it has always been. Teams like Gravity (10-8) and Team 8 (9-10) - who didn't do too badly - dissipating in one way or another. (Note: Team 8 was bought out and changed to Immortals. No players from Team 8 made the transition to Immortals' main roster)

It's this very chaotic preseason switching and swapping that worries me about the Immortals, and really all of the NA LCS teams' existence. As fantastic as it is to see a new team pop up and dominate in such a fiery fashion, what sort of security is there for a new team in the LCS scene?

Does anyone with a bit more knowledge think the same? What's stopping the organization from selling its' spot? What's stopping the players from cutting ties?

As these guys crush the NA scene, I'd love to see it transition into an international presence that originated from NA - but I'd like to see them become an NA LCS, long-lasting team like TSM, C9, Dignitas, Team Liquid (Curse)

Sorry if this seemed a bit (or totally) scatter-brained, but this has been on my mind a lot when I watch the Immortals play. Will they stick around?

Immortals, if they don't have a massive collapse in Summer or lose Huni + Reignover for some reason, should stay around for at least a season or two. As long as they are at the top (or even nearby), they are great economically and are worth keeping for the owner. Even if they are sold, only an idiot would disband the team they have together. The players wouldn't want to leave because they probably enjoy winning and might even like their teammates. Logically, they should be okay, but you never know.
