A) It was a somewhat bad investment made by a twitch streamer (not someone familiar with how business works) B) the team was created to be built around a player who from what I can understand had zero lcs/cs experience C) NA challenger is/was kinda predictable anyways as delta fox couldn't contend for playoffs anyways making it a toss up between big gods jackals and tg to be "out" D) There have been plenty of terrible challenger teams (especially in NA where you get like 1 per split), team gates just continues the trend

Most of the time, every league produces at least one team under the bar or is just outclassed for the competition they're against. Team Gates sadly happened to be that victim for NACS and unfortunately the second team in back to back splits that went without a win (Eanix being the first in Summer 2016). Regardless of the matter, they were expected to be bottom of the table even before the split started. It was only inevitable unless you really had no idea what kind of talent and experience existed among the other teams compared to them or if they pulled some upsets; the latter which did not happen at all.

Team Gates isn't bad......... 0 wins.......oh.. nvm ! Had to have some idea about this team before the split started for CS mainly due to Allorim having to play other champions not just named Wukong. As well as the other CS teams having actual players instead of these solo Q 1 trick ponies, no experience players on TG.
