So, what do you think of TSM?

Is anyone else feeling that they can be slightly overrated or maybe really overrated????? First of all, bjergsen messed up so badly against UOL and he is still called God. Everytime i see him being outplayed, people are like: that's not an outplay! He was trolling! That was unintentional. That's not bjerg....

    • also everyone relies heavily on bjerg. If bjerg loses, tsm loses (usually). I'm sorry, but this is too much.... now people call bjergsen to be better than Faker... ok then... Also another reason.... TSM TSM TSM -.- thx.... that's totally not offensive/disturbing in any way...

Bjergsen is a very talented player, maybe the best in NA. His games against UOL were not reflective of that, nor were they reflective of TSM's capabilities (Santorin was still very new to their roster).

TSM wins by having a lot of individual raw talent, and by being extremely coordinated and decisive in team-play scenarios. Their great record I think stems from their ability to rely on each player to not only do their job, but to make talented plays. Watch some of their teamfights; a lot of times their focus and zone play seems very unusual compared to other teams.

Again, this is all my opinion, and ive been a TSM fan for a while, but I think the one thing they do better than any other team is capitalize on opponents mistakes. Enemy team wins a fight and takes dragon? they knock down mid. Enemy team dives bot? Bjergsen soloes the enemy midlaner. it happens a lot like that.

One of their major weaknesses is objective control and early game shot calling. The CLG vs TSM game is a good example for this, CLG had like 4 dragons up on them and were pretty much out playing them a majority of the game. One of their biggest strengths is teamfighting which CLG is very poor at and they close out games pretty good, not the best, but not the worst. People have bad tournaments and if your judging a player from one bad performance then that really is stupid. I mean look at NaMei at worlds he's shown that he was better than Uzi domestically, but that didn't show at worlds. The problem with TSM right now is they need another legitimate carry. Wildturtle has some here and there but not really that many, unless he proves that he actually has good consistent carry potential, I think this would prove to be a problem internationally. TSM right now has looked far better than they have right now, so give I would them props to that.

I personally do not like TSM very much, but to be fair they are playing the best they ever have right now in my opinion, but they still have weaknesses. They tend to rely on bjerg to much to carry, and while he is an excellent player, if he has a bad game TSM just falls apart, and i don't think any serious fan thinks bjerg is better than faker. So I don't know if I would say they are over-rated right now, they are a strong team, possibly the strongest in the west, but they still have room to grow before they win any major international tournaments. IEM Katowice will be be a good test for them, however.

No, I don't think they are overrated.

Berg is good. Really good. His Ahri is sick. He is playing a lot of different champs at the moment. Thus, the Cass pick. The one thing I was disappointed in was his LeBlanc play last weekend. It seems like that champ would suit him to a t (and he absolutely destroyed as her on SoloQ the night before). But he had a bad game. For now, Im just putting it down to that- a bad game.

I will be interested to see what he does on the international scene. It is kind of like football or basketball players from small colleges. How will he do against the Koreans and Chinese? I need a frame of reference.

I do think Dyrus gets caught out way more than he should.

I love Santorin as RekSai and LustBoy as Janna. If I were coaching against TSM I would ban those 2 and see how it went. Lustboy's Annie play was uninspired. Turtle is fine. Solid NA ADC.

I think Monte said it best about TSM in his most recent video he did. He said that TSM was pretty much the NA SKT. They are extremely similar in a good number of ways. Both teams mid laners demand a huge amount of presence and respect from the enemy team and practically force them to focus on them more then any other lane. They both have mid laners that can single handily carry games and explode off of just one kill.

They are definitely not overrated. They are looking extremely good right now honestly. The only real problem they have is their minion control and Wildturtle playing more aggressively then he should. Both of those are easily fixed. They also can win off of other players aside from Bjergson. Wildturtle is one of the top adcs in the world. He can carry games. Hell Dyrus can carry games too. In fact he has before. Its just that people tend to forget that he can.

Wildturtle just needs to play a little more like Bang from SKT and play clean up duty adc. Since like Faker, Bjergson pretty much by himself forces the entire enemy team to always blow all of their abilities and cooldowns on him. Which allows for the adc's to easily clean up the ability-less enemy team. If Wildturtle would play a little safer and not be as reckless they would easily be a top team both NA and Internationally.

Also Bjergson is an insanely good Mid laner and deserves a lot of the praise he gets. Ive heard him called the Faker of the West a lot and honestly thats extremely accurate. Hes easily in the top ten best mid laners in the world.
