Home advantage or unsportsmanlike action? (2017 Worlds in China)

Basically I have watched every SKT games and whenever they go against a Chinese team. When SKT has any setup or gank potential, the crowd would yelled and warn their team (crowd yelled baron when SKT is doing it for example which the Chinese team turned towards baron), I do not know if the crowd do the same thing to other teams but thats what I saw and I am sure many others saw it too. Now to clarify..

  1. I am a SKT fan, thats what i watched every single team of them.
  2. I think is completely fine for the crowd to show more support to their home team, like every other sport
  3. The only problem I have is when the crowd hint what the other team is doing which may result in disadvantages especially when it seemed to happen. (I dont know what their headset setup is but from the micheck video you can hear the crowd still so I assume thats the case)
  4. I have been watching SKT games since S3 and I have not seen or hear any crowd from other countries would shout and hint their team as much as the Chinese crowd, hence I am complaining about that. To sum up, I think home advantage is a fair element in any games, because a top tier team should be able to show a strong mental state to withstand those pressure, make sense. But when the advantage given is something that will affect the game play that much, especially early ganks, dragons, barons that can impact the game so much, it feel like a dog move. you can call me crying about it whatever, but this only happens during this years worlds but I have never seen it before in any other years. Sorry about the long salty paragraph. Have a good day P.S. this post is made before the RNG vs SKT match finish (currently 0:0) so I am not crying because SKT loses (thats if they lost though, even they win, its still a big problem.)

Players should stay in a soundproof room imo.

Ppl (especially supporters) are a bunch of exploiting kids and only cause problems to the players with their screams.

The thing is, this is clearly a factor even outside of worlds. When watching broadcasts I have heard casters mention things such as "When you hear the noise of the crowd, you notice something is up" etc. I think this needs to change because no doubt it's a factor of what team decision making can be, even if it's not a big factor. Yes they have noise canceling headphones, and yes they do tend to 'zone in' to their games, but judging by the crowd's roar on the broadcast, it is hard not to imagine the players do not notice anything at all.

What the crowd sees is actually on a delay. It's not a big delay, but it's enough. Riot is fully capable of using sound proof booths, they choose not to. But they aren't stupid about it, they know how to protect the integrity of the game.

Pro teams tend to know to go check the baron pit simply because of how long it's been since they last saw the enemy champions and where at, regardless of their vision actually at the pit. I mean hell, even I do that and I'm no pro.

Real question: is it rigged/scripted.

With the amount of focus they have on the game, the sound cancelling headphones and communications happening 100% of the game, literally no one could know what the crowd is "Whooing" about. Its not enough payoff to invest effort into listening to the crowd, especially with everything happening.

Also, there is no advantage here. Listen to when SKT walked out on stage, then listen to when RNG comes out. RNG gets a DEAD SILENT introduction, while SKT get a roaring crowd when they come out. cheering.

Those sound-cancelling headsets they are given are really amazing it is basically impossible to hear the outside world.

This hasn't happened in any other region and any other sports or game category where the audience and the player speak the same language and in support of one of the teams on the stage, that they shout stuff/hints to the players on the arena? While it isn't entirely so, but I would like to think there is an element of confirmation bias (both employing and baiting) in this thread.

Not to mention, it's not even like the players can even be bothered with the audience while they're busying playing the game.

Also, isn't the gameplay spectate delayed by like 3 min to prevent "spec cheating" (for all levels of play)?
