I can see ranking them 9th or 10th if they didn't have Hai. But the fact he stayed on people should have gave the guy more credit than that. He basically came back and took a c9 team headed that were headed to relegations, to worlds instead in a span of like 3 weeks. The guy has proven to make any team a winner. So, with all the discombobulated teams full of mechanics and nothing else this season, it shouldnt have been a surprise that he is able to manufacture wins out of thin air by leadership alone; esp. with 2 players who are going to listen to him that he has played with his entire career. And honestly, his entire career is defined by that leadership talent alone.
Not to mention, if people haven't noticed, their mechanics really aren't that poor. Even when Hai "retired" hes still a top challenger player. Same with the others. Its not like these guys were out in their garage working on old cars at 45 years old when someone came and told them they needed them back lol. They are 20 year old dudes still spamming solo Q just burnt out of competitive. But now they have the fire again, and they are playing pretty damn well individually.
But yea. I mean if they had some other mid like I thought they were going to have before the split started, 9th or 10th sounded about right. As soon as people heard that Hai stayed on, he should have gotten way more credit than that.
