I don't mean teams.. Beyond that. Is there a reason you like to watch one over the other?

For me, I used to only catch the EU side. Though lately I've been watching the NA side on youtube, and I'm finding it much more enjoyable to watch.

The reasons for me are the difference in how the commentators are. In the EU they say the obvious and are strictly "on the record" with very little to no jokes or side talk being made. I don't need to hear "so and so just took a tower" every time. I can see that for myself. They also commentate on exactly what's going on in the game being shown. "Looks like so and so is teleporting top now" yea ty captain obvious.

When I watch the NA side, they don't often say those things, and instead keep it a bit more "real". They'll talk about builds more, or explain things we may not be able to see exactly, like when a player is holding back skills for a rare situation, they'll likely comment on that a bit more, as well as just making jokes between lulls in the combat, and explaining possibly the back logic of what a team is attempting to do for any particular thing.

I also notice the way the teams as a whole play in the NA side is a bit more risky and aggressive, while the EU side tends to be a cookie cutter situation more often than not with far less risks being made.

Which one, not counting teams do you like? Even if your favorite team is in the NA, maybe you enjoy watching EU matches more for a particular reason?

I watch both relatively often, but mostly NA for the same reason you mentioned - they're more real, giving more attention to the things we want to hear to learn rather than what we can blatantly see. Why someone took x item over another, for example.

By the same token though, I do occasionally like just hearing exactly how things are being thrown down, particularly when it comes to the order of ultis in those perfectly executed team fights.

I'm leaning towards the NA LCS. More meta breaking (or making ^_^) picks, more flashy plays, more hype.

The EU LCS feels, to me, like it has just been diminishing in quality across the board. Heck, even one of EU's best players moved over to the NA LCS.

The EU is more entertaining now then it use to be.

The NA is a funny league with many imports. The NA scene has be trying to improve sense the end of season two. This constant growing of the scene has made it very fun to watch.

The EU just looked to do their own thing but it was boring. They also never seemed to motivated themselves to be the best(as they were last to get coaches on all teams) in the end they kinda got left behind. But now that has changed it started with the super team alliance although creating an allstar doesn't make a top lvl team. Having all the best player doesn't make you win as C9 has proved many times. But it was a start, With the super team falling to lower rank it feels as EU has finally started to grow. The same way NA grew last year.

NA is still more fun to watch but EU I can watch with being bored (SK can be really fun to watch).

Last year, Eu was more entertaining to watch, at least to me.

This year on the other hand, Na is notably more entertaining. I honestly get bored during EU games, and if it's not my favorite team or the top teams playing each other, I usually stop watching the game when it seems like one team has gained the advantage they need to win. I didn't really pay too much attention to the casting, I like both regions casting for their own reasons, but EU casting does feel somewhat less exciting without Deman and Joe. Also, I feel like the competition is more exciting in NA. When I watch an NA game between any of the teams except the bottom two, it feels like it's anyone's game. Most of the NA teams have pleasantly surprised me this season. I thought NA was gonna be boring because the top 4 teams would be way above the bottom 6, but honestly the gap is much closer than I expected. That's why I think it's more interesting to watch, because the teams are closer in skill (they are inconsistent sometimes) and it's hard to predict who'll win.

It used to be EU for me, but I can't stand Piratechnics. So, NA now.
