[suggestion] 3 game design changes that'd improve spectating experience

1. finishing strike

-champions spells and autoattacks kill minions (only minions) when the minion is at very low health after strike. -e.g. if autoattack hits minion, and minion has less than 20 hp, the minion dies. -”farming is boring, lets shift focus on pvp”

**2. consistency with push back abilities **

-e.g. Vayne’s E, Alistar’s headbutt -all champion pushed back against the wall is stunned (single target push backs only) -”greater importance on positioning and it makes sense”

3. consistency with shields

-janna can shield almost everything, some can't shield minions -too confusing with shielding and doesnt add much to the game.. -make all shields consistent - only able to shield minions and champions (max shielding amount for balance)

" as the game is getting more complex, which it should, don’t forget to shed the fats!"

complexity simplicity complexity simplicity complexity simplicity

-ying and yang of great designs

You should read the PBE notes for the pre-season 5 patch. Your game is not going to get any simpler. Anyway;

  1. I don't really agree with this. Last hitting takes a certain amount of skill. If you're unsure why CS is so important, let me just tell you; it's about the gold, which translates into more items, which in turn means the more CS you can get over your opponent the better chance you have of winning. Interrupting the enemy while he tries to CS is a tactic to shift the gold advantage in your favor (and even kill the opponent in the process). Making it a mindless task just removes too much of the competitiveness during laning phase. A pointless dumbing down of the game.

  2. That's just a buff to certain champions. You need to evaluate each individual champion based on whether then need that extra stun or not rather than just a blanket buff to all of them.

  3. I don't really see a problem with this, but I'm sure Riot has their reasons for some abilities not shielding minions. If I remember correctly, Lulu was able to earlier in the season but it was removed; most likely because it is more than just a shield, it's a range extender for her main attack. Just like #2, each champion needs to be evaluated separately.
