Cloud 9 no longer top tier in NA

Which isn't saying much, given how much we blow in every international event, but that last showing was disgraceful. Didn't even get a turret? And that was after they barely eeked out a victory over TSM, which was a game they should have lost. Cloud 9 used to be my big white hope for NA, but that is no longer. They are a shadow of their former selves, which weren't even fully realized yet(and likely never will be), and incarnati0n doesn't add much to the team but a one trick pony that played poorly both games.

Guess I'll have to throw my vote behind CLG again(for the first time in years). At least Doublelift plays a champion that I love, Ashe.

Gotta love the Fair Weather fans. It tells you who are real fans of a team and who just want to ride the "hype train".

The OP will either drift off to another team after CLGs likely Playoff drop off or return to C9.

Another thing the OP does not seem to recognize is that C9 has had to change everything with the shift from Hai. They lost a shotcaller so Meteos/Lemon are needing to step up and that will take time which added with the time for synergy with Incarnati0n we are in for a bumpy road with C9.

Also, it should be mentioned that as the competition in NA rises, teams must adapt or get left behind, but adaptation isn't instant. I think C9 will be fine by the end of the split but we only have a weeks worth of data.

Way too early to say this. C9 clearly had a bad game. Even Sneaky- who is normally VERY consistent- didn't play well. It happens.

Personally, I believe the jury is still out on Incarnation. Not great so far but again... only 2 games. And I believe that CLG has improved so CLG, TSM, C9 ARE the top tier NA.

hahaha banwagonists everywhere. first off when you have a new player on your team who has 0 pro scene experience.. it will take some time for him to get used to the scene, much less synergize with the team to get full coordination. and incarnation doesnt add much to the team? one trick pony? do you not remember what hai was? mechanically subpar and was only ever really decent on corki last split. incarnation played kog both games cuz thats what the team asked of him most likely

please take your head out of your ass cuz im not even a c9 fan but anyone can see whats happening

They'll bounce back. It's still better than the 0-2 start from last split. Meteos literally said it'll take a few games for them to really warm up, and Incarnati0n still doesn't have the experience in competitive games like the rest of the team.

A team needs to be a cohesive unit, and when one cog in the machine is catching, the whole system breaks down.

Been a C9 fan since the start, so I trust their decision.

Too early, and saying NA blows at EVERY international event is not really true. Just MSI, besides that, NA was having respectable appearances at most international tournaments.

I dont think Incarnation is going to be the world beater he was hyped up to be. He hasnt performed that well in LCS, and if you catch him on stream, he gets beat down regularly by supposedly worse NA mids. He loses all the time. Like the casters said, even Hai is still higher then him. He looks like an average mid. He will just be there, have a good game here or there, whatever. I dont see him doing better then Bjerg, Pobelter, or Slooshi.

Hai was a great player; plagued by injuries. His mechanics were good, his champ pool wasn't. Then he started getting injuries and wrist problems, couldn't play, and his gameplay slowly deteriorated. I think the loss showed how much his shot-calling helped them. Hopefully, they get some semblance of it back, becuase at is stands Incarnation really isnt bringing anything to make up for it. He broke even in lane with Shiptur, someone who routinely loses lane but has great teamfights. Shiptur is not known as a strong laner, and he was in a bad matchup to boot, and still just broke even. Hell, Bjerg beat the breaks off him harder then Hai ever had them beat off him.

Also, Alex Ich was there, available. A far more clutch player, who proved he still had game left in him when he solo carried TDK into the LCS. Really a crime that so many teams have overlooked him. Huge champ pool, can play anything. Doesnt get stressed, just chill. Teams really should have looked into him.

I believe the jury is still out on him. I heard they tried Pobelter out; that might have been a better choice.

Shows how much Hai's shotcalling helped them. They looked lost.

Well this certainly is an interesting opinion. I'm thinking the same thing about TSM. However it's completely unfair to judge when we just witnessed the amazing teams in the world at MSI. I feel that I'm wanting to say TSM isn't a top tier team, when they still may very well be the best in NA.

Regarding your opinion, I think C9 will be fine. They need to get incarnati0n comfortable on stage and they'll perform much better.
