Goliath vs. David
LMQ vs. Team 8
LMQ has been toppling even the most venerated Challenger teams with total ease since their arrival on the West Coast. However, it seems they’ve hit a wall and hard. Not only have they been toppled, they’ve dropped four games to teams they beat into the ground just a few weeks ago in the current NACL season. Regardless, they’ll need to buckle down and keep evolving in order to best the other Challenger teams this round. Every team has got their sights set on taking LMQ down, and Team 8 is primed to do it.

LMQ
Team 8 is a recently formed squad but they are a huge favorite to take the crown in the second Series. Their results have been stellar so far, with a 9-3 record in NACL and they’ve even taken out the powerhouse of LMQ on more than one occasion. Slooshi and Maplestreet are their backbone, with their team fight and split second decision making. They will surely lead the team to great heights and potentially even the crown this Series.
The LCS Infused vs. Challenger Veterans
LoLPro vs. vVv Gaming
One of the more diverse teams in the Challenger Series, LolPro has been around for a while but their results have been mixed. They either completely dominate or look a little better than solo queue stars. The team has a boundless, diverse pool of champions to choose from, particularly Nyjacky and Heaventime, which leads to varied strategies and compositions that can upset even the best teams. This can backfire on them though, as seen in the NACL with their 6-4 record, if they’re not careful or make impulsive decisions. They’ll need to keep themselves in check and be on point with their play this weekend if they hope to make it far in the Series.
vVv Gaming fares about the same as LolPro. Though they have a broad mix of strategies open to them, they tend to fall flat when it comes to execution. Sporting a 6-6 record in the NACL this season, vVv really need to step up their synergy and bring back the old school Tails and Get Snuggled we saw in the previous Challenger Series. If they can step their game up and mesh communication-wise they could decimate the Series, but until that happens, they’re stuck in the mid-tier of Challenger teams. They will need to fight for survival harshly against LolPro.
