That the east asia region is split into far more groups than NA/EU/Wildcard areas?

NA is everything NA. US, Canada, Mexico, etc. EU is everything EU. Russia, Germany, Spain, France, Britain, etc. (Too many countries to count) Wild cards are kinda everywhere. Thailand, Brazil, etc. Smaller regions. (Side note: I believe Brazil should get at least 1-2 spots for next years worlds. Those guys really gave it their all at paiNgaming.)

But the eastern asia teams? Korea gets it's own version. China gets it's own version. Taiwan gets it's own version.

I'd imagine Japan is also going to get their own version of the LCS. Why is there so much variance? It can't JUST be the amount of teams in the southeast asia region, can it?

Korea alone has more players than the whole NA server, China is the country with the highest population of the world and the whole region consists of a lot more people than North America and Europe. It makes to split it up like that.

NA has Mexico included in League of Legends? Never knew that. Anyways, Canada does not have their own Riot Games company in their country. So it would be fit to include Canada in NA.

I don't think that there are multiple Riot Games companies in each and every country of EU. So it would be fit to just put everything EU under one banner, right? Korea has LCK because there is a Riot Games office in Korea.

China has LPL because Tencent (apparently China's biggest Internet Service Provider) has partnered with Riot Games to provide League of Legends to China.

Taiwan has LMS because there is a Riot Games office in Taipei. And I know that a few Wildcard Regions have offices situated in their country. I don't think there is a Japan version of League of Legends Professional Play but not too sure.

It's because Asian teams have more chance to win worlds than NA or EU teams, so they are deemed more important to get more teams from different regions in. Prove me wrong.
