Heading into any fantasy draft, it’s easy to know who you want on your team. But as the rounds count down, decisions will become tougher and tougher as the reliable players get scooped up. Knowing who has value in later rounds, and who is poised for a breakout season, can give you an edge in forming a powerhouse fantasy team. Here’s some of the best up-and-coming value picks as we head into the Summer split.
Shiphtur - Dignitas, Mid Lane
Shiphtur has always had the top talent to dominate his position. But Coast never really managed to find a way to take advantage of him. Being shipped over to Dignitas might be the best news for his fans, as a new team means some definite new opportunities, and Shiphtur has some real upside as he eases into Dignitas. Couple that with the mentorship of Scarra, and you’ve got a winning combination: a great path to being a top-five Mid laner by end of the split.
MrRalleZ - Supa Hot Crew, AD Carry

Rallez set the bar high early into spring with flashy plays and some really big performances. But as the Crew settled into February, they dropped the ball more often than not, and ended up near the bottom of the league. Now they enter their sophomore split with some experience under their belt and a potential upgrade over Migxa in veteran wewillfailer. Worst case scenario, MrRalleZ and SHC continue to flop about, but he’s playable as a flex against weak bottom lane opponents. Best case scenario, he and SHC improve and step up their game, elevating him to a top-five AD Carry that you can get in the latter half of the draft.
InnoX - Evil Geniuses, Top Lane

EG managed to remain in the LCS with a win in Promotion, but it wasn’t pretty. Amidst rumors of some pretty major roster changes, however, one thing is clear—InnoX’s role is set in stone for the NA team. He’ll be low on most people’s radars as a non-founding member to the team, but he had a consistent Spring split and was one of the big performers of the last few weeks. He stands a fair chance of a big resurgence; and if EG does end up with some major upgrades, could be a very smart value pick towards the end of the draft.
Mor - LMQ, Support

Theoretically, every single LMQ player should be a sleeper. But with the coverage they’ve received in the last few months, coupled with their absolute stomp through the promos, you’ve got a recipe for overdrafting. If you get lucky, Mor might be floating around in the 5th or 6th rounds, and while some drafters steer toward old reliables like LemonNation and Aphromoo, the truth is Supports are going to be heavily reliant on the rest of their team to rack up those assists. Mor and his team have shown that they’re capable of just that.
Kottenx - Millenium, Jungle

It may be hard to swallow a Millenium player after their disheartening spring season and near-relegation. And on top of that, Kottenx was a late-season replacement, and has only six regular season games under his belt. But a quick look at the numbers and you’ll see some underlying value. In the final Super Week of the LCS, he totaled 85.4 points, clocking in as the No. 2 Jungler that week across both leagues (1st had 86.5 pts). Consider that you can probably get him late into the draft, and he might be the biggest sleeper in the league if he can keep up his pace.
