Who to Root For - Teams vs. Players

Hello! I (like most of you, presumably) enjoy watching the LCS games now and then. However, I don't have time to watch every game, and I'm wondering how I should pick which games to watch.

In other words, what do you support and how do you choose? Should I find a team (or teams) I enjoy, and watch their games regardless of the frequent roster changes? Or should I find a player (or players) that I really like, and watch their games regardless of which team they're on?

If you don't have time to watch it all, how do you choose what to watch?

HI !

I personally look at games in similar reasons that I would find reasons to watch for an example, I like watching teams that have longer games because I love the 40+ mins of the players figuring out what to do next even tho they already spent time gathering up evidence similar to a detective movie that gives you information with it's details but you still need to watch the whole game/movie to fully understand why teams can't finish the game/case.
I don't like watching the 30 min on average teams play because I feel either those teams get destroyed to the point where it's like watching a snuff film or their games are just too easy and they win pre 20.

You can also look at the standings to find out which overall games have teams with the two best records and watch those games. The thing about that is most times NA's best team vs the second best team doesn't really impress oppose to say the #1 or #2 best team vs the middle of the pack team. In most cases when 1 of the 2 best NA teams face it's normally a stump in either in 1 or 2 games as well as the whole series. While the middle of the pack team puts more effort to beat the higher up team.
2014 Summer TSM was paired up against DIG and while some people didn't think much about the series for a number of reasons being 1. Dig was god awful in the final 3-4 weeks prior to the playoffs going like 1-9 or something as well as Dig was 3-1 against TSM put people still thought TSM would go 3-0 because well it's TSM in the playoffs. TSM did beat DIG but 3-1 instead as well as around 45+ mins on average as well as being regarded as the greatest NA playoff series.
A few weeks later the #1 team at the time C9 was going to face the #2 TSM and while the series was good 3-2 it just wasn't the same as the DIG and LMQ series were weeks before. My point being don't be the 100th guy/women to watch the series that everyone else will most likely watch take a chance instead and watch a game that isn't getting as much viewers because most times it becomes a diamond in the ruff.
2009 NBA playoffs the high attention broadcasters were paying attention to the Kobe vs UTU and LeBron vs DET in the first round while 1 of the greatest playoff series ever was happening instead BOS vs CHI to the point where I believe the original broadcasters were kicked and were replaced by the other casters.

Up high and down low. This weekend most people will say they can't wait to see C9 vs FQ part II and while I want to see it myself I already seen it like a week ago it feels like. I however will most likely still watch it but my 100% attention will most likely go to the P1 vs DIG series instead. Both teams are coming off respected weeks, P1 with the roster change is much stronger in my opinion and DIG looks to have turned a new leaf and are finally on the right track.

Other methods Most kills per game teams - Viewers like games that have action even tho it's called clown fiestas because of the amount of kills by the same people who called league " boring" back in 2014/2015 because teams were much slower than they are now.
Popular team - Bandwagon a team that is impressing the wide majority of the viewers.

little bit of both. Ive been watching LCS and EULCS for a few years now, so I like teams and players from both area's.

For example, I like TSM because I remember the great TSM vs CLG rivalry , even though all the players are different. But yet say they are playing Pheonix 1 , I like Froggen, because I watched him in EULCS for a long time. So in those cases, I cheer for a team to win, but the player to do well also.
