Ghambit and Sk

I just want to vocalize an observation i had about Sk and Ghambit. Last split, when Forgiven was still with Sk both of these teams made it into playoffs and showed much promise. Between the spring and summer splits, Forgiven went to Ghambit and CandyPanda joined Sk. Both of these teams had to fight for relegation spots yesterday, with Sk being dropped from the LCS. I'm just not sure how the shifting of one player could bring both teams down so far. Forgiven was a star on SK, yet did not preform as well on Ghambit. Maybe it was because SK was built around getting Forgiven fed last split, and this one he was on a team with a prioritzed top laner in Cabochard (spelling, mb) and a decent midlaner in Betsy. I'm just not quite sure. Thoughts?

Forgiven is a very good player. Skill wise. But his attitude is questionable. Many high elo and pro players have a big ego. But some professionalism is merited as well. I not blaming Forgiven for anything, I don't know the guy or anything and clearly he has some skill to be big ego. But I seen this time and time again in the west were the players act like spoiled brats not always the best players as well. The lack of professionalism has become an issue. I do think it is getting better at least I hope.

Maybe the meta also had something to do with it. Svenskeren is a lot better on Warrior junglers rather than Cinderhulk junglers. Most of the Spring split was Warrior, so he has trouble adapting. Gambit was barely in relegation, and could have been in playoffs depending on the last week, so their troubles can't really be counted.

simple answer: the EU LCS improved a lot compared to S4.

SK always had been a very one-dimensional Team, relaying on fast-push to get ahead and then snowballing it as their only way of playing the game. in S5 more teams were able to see through that and step up their own game accordingly.

For Gambit the issue is sth. else: they played without a coach for too long and did lose out a lot in the beginning of the season due to some heavy issues with Forgiven being a farm-heavy carry and Gambit being a team focused on top/jgl/mid snyergy mostly - later on when everyone managed to find a place in their team (mostly forgiven being able to impact the game without getting the most ressources of his team, but also betsy stepping up his game) they did rather well, but ultimatly too late to make up for their bad start into the season.

So it´s a combination of just general evolvment of the other teams in the league and Forgiven representing a sort of outdated model this season: adcs that can only impact the game when they get the most ressources/get ahead are just a liability to their teams. Even Rekkles had to learn that when playing with Fnatic again.

Well sk wanted to disband anyways. There was too much interval strife and fighting. In fact, it was riot who forced them to play the remainder because of contracts

Freddy is one of the best 1v1 top laners. He isn't good at 2v1 though. Sven is great with Nid but bad with cinder hulk champions. And fox is a assassin player not control Mage.

Panda and nrated are not the best but they keep up with every other not lane

It just seems that the team was breaking apart on a level beyond game play and team synergy
