After a difficult spring split and a tough match in the Summer Promotion Tournament to secure their spot in the LCS, the Supa Hot Crew was looking to make a change. To stimulate their bottom lane, the team brought in wewillfailer to support their emerging star ADC MrRallez.
With their new bottom lane duo, the Supa Hot Crew has shocked European LCS fans and teams by holding firm in third place after two weeks. The team has taken victories off of veteran teams like Gambit and Alliance, and handed Millenium their only loss in Week 1. Clearly, the addition of wewillfailer has sparked a change in the Supa Hot Crew that has them sprinting headlong down a path towards the playoffs.
Fnatic's Season 1 Savior
While a newcomer to the LCS stage, long time League of Legends fans will remember the story of wewillfailer from the Season 1 championship. Xpeke was delayed in his arrival to Dreamhack, and so the team was down their top laner in the most important tournament of their careers. Wewillfailer stepped in, helping the team narrowly avoid being knocked out on the first day.
With his help, the team was able to reunite with Xpeke on day two and go on to win the first ever League of Legends World Championship. "It wasn't really a good first offline event for me," said wewillfailer, recalling the event. "I had to play top lane, while I've basically only played 10 games of that. But it was a fun thing to actually be a part of it, and I helped Xpeke, Lamia, Shushei, Melisan, and Cyanide to not get disqualified."
The Way Back

Wewillfailer had a long road from Season 1 all the way to the Season 4 summer split, but his desire to reach the pinnacle never waned. "I really wanted to prove to myself and to other people that I could do this," he said. "People have a wrong idea of me because I'm very much the biggest tryhard in solo queue and people get offended by that." Undeterred by his detractors, wewillfailer chased an LCS spot with teams like Mousesports and Team Solo Mebdi. Eventually, he ended up on Sinners Never Sleep, the team that would eventually become Lemondogs.
After a challenger season full of success, Sinners Never Sleep earned their way into the Season 3 Summer Promotion Tournament through the Go4LoL series. After a clean sweep of Against All Authority, the team had earned their way into the LCS, and wewillfailer was finally a pro gamer at the top level. Unfortunately, only a few short weeks of living his dream later, wewillfailer was removed from Lemondogs in exchange for Mithy. After a year bouncing around amateur teams, he was able to build a relationship with members of the Supa Hot Crew. This year, when the team needed a new support, both MrRallez and Selfie both lobbied for the resilient wewillfailer.
The New Hot Crew

SHC's new support is pleased to be playing alongside one of the EU LCS's rising stars in MrRallez. "[He] is the whole package: a nice guy, a good friend, and a good player. He gives his all every day." wewillfailer added that he knows he and MrRallez have not yet reached their potential as a duo. Fans and fantasy LCS players will want to keep a close eye on this developing pair.
The rest of the Supa Hot Crew have adapted quickly to their newest member. Now veterans of a full split, MrRallez, Implaer, Mimer, and Selfie have found a strong chemistry in just a few short weeks. "It was really easy because I like them and they like me. We are all willing to put our own playstyle aside for the good of the team." He noted that this chemistry has been the biggest difference from his time in the LCS with the Lemondogs. "Before, it was more I just wanted to be a pro and didn't really care too much about having a fun [time] with the players."
Wewillfailer also said that while the team's shotcalling system is primarily based around whoever screams the hardest, he considers himself to be one of the primary shotcallers, alongside Impaler. When asked about how the team will fare this split, he was confident that SHC would finish in the top four. "I feel that if we keep up our performances and keep working on our mistakes, this is a goal we should definitely reach."
