Loud Crowds Are Helping Players In Game

I've been watching the LCS today and noticed that the crowd is extremely talkative in every game. The casters are trying to do their jobs and there are SO many people in the crowd just yelling nonsense.

This was at its worst in Fly Quest Vs Echo Fox. There was a group of people in the crowd that would yell at the top of their lungs "MOON" every time Moon was trying to make a sneaky play. Legit every time. Moon was playing Eve, a champ that needs to be sneaky and this guy was 100% telling Echo Fox that a play was going to happen every. Single. Time.

You can't even tell me "the players can't hear the crowd, they're wearing headphones." Because in the mic checks when they show the players talking you can hear the crowd crystal clear which means that the crowd gets picked up on the players mics so they CAN hear them.

There was a moment when Moon was coming up on Echo Fox's Kha in his jungle's blue and that same guy yelled "MOON" and right when he did both Kha and Moon stopped moving for a second and then Kha ran away even though he had no vision.

Two things:

1: The screen we see and the viewers see is 5-10 seconds behind the actual game, so much of the time, the crowd will be warning FOX that Moon has already started attacking them. So if there is any situation where crowd noise results in an immediate change in decision, that isn't actually what happened.

2: Both teams say that they did not hear the crowd and the crowd did not influence them. This was checked with the refs and in their comms as well. I assume any situation where player behavior was seemingly influenced by the crowd was by chance or by FOX just being smart and knowing how Eve works. https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/5qwnxc/crowd_trying_to_cheat_in_ef_vs_fq/dd2q6pd/ (reddit link is dumb just click on it)

So yeah. No real problems here, no reason why FLY lost other than their play.

Okay, looks like I gotta explain how sound waves and noise canceling headphones work...

First off the headphones cover their ears, so the sound is GREATLY dulled... the microphone is an external source which is DESIGNED to pick up noise.

There is also a reason why they're called NOISE CANCELING HEADPHONES, hell im not even gonna explain it if you can't understand the name.

Already debunked by a rioter:

I was in the battle theater during game 3 and the crowd was getting pretty amped up. We're confident in our audio solutions, but I did want to safety check the environment becuase it's so intimate in there and can get loud on broadcast. I checked with the referees who told me the players weren't affected by the crowd audio. They reviewed the teams' comms and verified it was clean. After the game, I met with both teams to ensure that they had a uncompromised game play experience. Both teams confirmed they didn't hear any of the Moon chants or Lemon chants. Over the last few seasons, we have invested a lot of time and energy into making sure our audio solution is secure. If you'd like any more context, check out this piece: https://youtu.be/E09MIo-p-10

So no, they can't hear them.

We should make cubicles and put a water cooler between the two teams.

This will make eSports exciting and fresh.

They can't hear the crowd, this issue was solved later last year with no headsets and microphone technology. Stop circlejerking about the crowd giving away moon, because they can't.

Noise canceling headphones actually compare the sound they take in from the mike to the one from an external mike and substract it. So the external mike hears only the crowd, the mouth one hears both, and the player receives the voice only. In the mic checks, we spectators receive the sound from the mouth mike directly.
