Is there a reason why public salary data through riot wouldn't make sense?

I'm not saying public salaries are a "must" for league or anything, but there are some pretty compelling reasons to consider it so I wonder what the reasons to not do it would be?

The biggest reason imo is that if the community wants to say that eSports should be considered in the same breath as traditional sports (real sports as some might say), then there isn't a legitimate reason to intentionally avoid doing something that is standard practice in all major sports in the US as far as I can tell. In addition to that reason there are a number of others. It clears up ambiguity about stuff like the recent Kespa drama, and really helps players understand where their relative value is on the market. If the top players on the top teams are making very little, but generating tons of sponsorship and other revenue for their teams by winning and making the team a high profile team, they would know this when it comes time for contract negotiations. Also teams that might have thought they couldn't compete in terms of salary would know to offer those players deals in the off season in hopes of being able to get those players to increase their team profile and attract better sponsorship deals.

What are the reasons not to, and if any rioter stops by do you know if this is being talked about internally? (Not asking for y'all to disclose what's being said or take a stance, I'm just curious if it's being brought up in riot or isn't a big enough thing in the community yet to be talked about in riot.)
