Even The Announcers are Tired of End-Game Disrespect

You have several leagues of "alledged" "professional" players that don't even know how to attack an open nexus. Instead, every game, you see one entire team trying to spawnkill the other for no valid reason. Sportsmanship is still supposed to be a thing, even in ESports. Why do you, as a company, consider it superior form to insult your opponents and draw out games that are already over? Why does this happen in every single LCS level game?

Is it so hard to be a professional, finish the game, and move on to the next?

Gotta get those fantasy points tho! ( bad joke )

These are 18-25 year old men/women who plays video games 24/7, not leave the house (unless going to the gym or for their weekly restaurant after each game(2-3 times in a week - give or take). Point is these players haven't really

A. matured/maturity- Interviews with such players are always the same " Dank, LOLZ, Troll, feels bad man,"

B. Like I said before they don't do anything but play games so their social skills and just doing your job is at a all time low, trolling is more important. However if ROC did lose that game, their first response would most likely had been ( We just gotta learn how to close out games and work better as a team)

C. They don't care/ It's a game It' taken about 7-8 years before the scene has felt professional, with talks such as franchising, better interviews, more $ etc and for the most part to these players, they train by playing a game, the scrim playing, the practice, solo Q, and LCS also playing the game. About 75% of the time playing the game is within solo Q and as the age ol' expression goes " You tend to build bad habits during the time you spend the most"

Stuff like this won't stop and what can be done anyways ?
Putting a rule up wouldn't help - Most teams/players need to sometimes spawn camp while the others finished off the base knowing that 1 player from the opposing team could possibly 1v5 them depending on score, levels etc. Timely matter of this is for all to see and decide for themselves in difficult and certain games.

Solo Q habit ? In solo Q whenever a team loses who's typically the first to be blamed at the end of the game if not during ? - The person with the worst score/KDA. These pros are just trying to pad their stats so if the team does bad or doesn't make the playoffs, relegated those certain players can say ( Look at my stats and none would be the wiser to say it's not X players' fault) Second pro players are already pros and even if they do troll in games they will still win a decent amount knowing/having 4 other pros on their side in solo Q so the bad habits are still forming even if they aren't spawn camping. A good example of this and off subject is Perkz - True his seems to be a "professional" on stage, but how many splits till you think he will do the same and start to build on bad solo Q habits also ?

( I want to point out - I'm not saying every gamer is "childish or immature" and say goes for 18-25 year old's also, don't want to discriminate anyone just trying to make a point etc).
Sorry if I did discriminated anyone in advance, wasn't my motive or the point of this!

Just my take on this subject, grind this type of troll attitude into the players during solo Q( nothing military style but just enough so bad habits don't form. I know Solo Q is where the players can relax from LCS, scrims etc, but if we want to be professional, stay relevant among the Koreans the Western players all not just EU but NA needs to improve, be professional and be adults about the job that you are playing.

If you're referring to the roccat/nip game, then it wasn't just the casters. The audience mostly stopped clapping with even a few "booo"s when roccat tried to stall for kills at the enemy nexus.

Some people consider that as a form of disrespect and others don't. I can imagine if it's a blow out and the team literally walks away and lets an inhibitor respawn, then it's kind of disrespectful. However, I'd be grateful if I was the losing team for giving us another chance.

All in all, how thick or thin is your own skin? Would you really consider stalling a win ( which is like maybe 15 seconds longer) disrespect? I think players flicking eachother off is a more clear sign. Thankfully that hasn't happened again? ( don't know if this keeps happening, don't follow esports religiously)

Yeah in the pro scene, I only understand doing this if it's something like: sneaky needs 1 more kill to get his 1000th kill or whatnot. Otherwise, just end.

I've won a few games because the other team decided to act disrespectful like that. I've lost just one. I was quite low so I decided to attract the two on the other team so that a team mate could finish the nexus with the winions. I succeeded and stayed alive because I had just enough speed over them to pull it off. But unknown to me, my team mate decided to dance instead of finishing off the nexus. Long story short they came off of cool down, demolished him and we were left with a 2 on 5 and lost. Usually when a team mate says don't finish I finish anyway or type in no need to be disrespectful. That usually stops that. But I was too busy to type in End or ping the nexus.
